Job Description:
The Project Assistant will support the Last Mile Expansion Strategy and Planning Manager on the Last Mile team in Mountain View, to help with scaling and automation efforts. The team's projects consists of Engineering designs, Financial Cost Modeling, Presentations, Reports to name a few.
Responsibilities:
1. Assists with business process mapping documentation when provided with comprehensive workflow steps by the Last Mile Expansion Strategy and Planning Manager.
2. Assists with dashboard and reports creation, when provided with direction by the Last Mile Expansion Strategy and Planning Manager
3. Updates and disseminates various internal reports requiring follow-up, as instructed.
4. Assists with business analysis and creation of slide deck deliverables.
5. Coordinates activities and tasks with other personnel within the team.
6. Drafts letters, memos and other documents, which may be of confidential nature, using personal computers and word processing software.
7. Performs such other duties as the Last Mile Expansion Strategy and Planning may from time to time deem necessary.
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in a technical or administrative field
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales & SMB (Small Medium Business) Operations, our local sales teams, engineering, marketing, and construction
- Ability to handle ambiguous environments and to multitask
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Database Management & Data Entry
- 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 1-2 years of experience with SQL (Does not need to be an expert but at the very least must be able to write queries)
Preferred qualifications:
1. Excellent problem solving skills.
2. Salesforce or equivalent database experience
3. High interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Deadline and detail-oriented.
5. Flexible and able to think quickly.
6. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, and outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
7. Someone who has presentation and consulting experience.
8. Extroverts a plus!
