Application & Customer Support Engineer – Software
Desired Skills and Experience:
The candidate should work close to engineer team in Taiwan to provide customers direct technical support which may include driver integration, firmware porting and technical spec consulting.
The candidate must eager to study new specifications and have good team work with peers. The candidate will learn the established procedures and processes in order to determine the proper course of action to resolve customer problems and to provide management with status updates.
This position also required travel on-site to discuss with customers and partners, help to design in our products to various applications. Hand-on experience in helping customer to check software flow and debug in customer platform is required.
Requirements:
BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree is a plus.
3+ year working experience
Familiar with C and C++ programming language
Familiar with Linux OS, Kernel, and device driver
Familiar with Networking/Communication protocol
Better to have Wi-Fi related experience
System house software RD experience is preferred
Excellent communication skills internal and external.
Mandarin speaking preferred.
Application & Customer Support Engineer – Hardware
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Provide Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 2.1/3.0/4.0 LE, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou, and NFC knowledge base for various customer applications.
Interface knowledge of USB/PCI-E/SDIO/RGMII
Pre-sales report and presentation skills, post sales program management.
Design review and debug for customers projects.
Demonstration of new technologies in multiple trade shows and customer sites
Desired Skills and Experience:
BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree is a plus.
Wi-Fi systems experience highly preferred.
Strong hardware knowledge wireless system design .
Good working knowledge of design, prototype, implementation, evaluation, manufacturing production.
1-3 years of experience wireless engineering, or applications engineering.
Good presentation skills, able to provide technical knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
Excellent communication skills internal and external.
Mandarin speaking preferred.
Self-motivated, positive, responsible, and delivers on schedule.
Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities and assignments.
Travel estimated at 40-60%
