The Business Analyst will be working with Enterprise Data Services. That includes Asset Mgmt., Configuration Mgmt., Capacity Mgmt. and Data Services. Priority is closing the gaps we have in our asset life cycle for hardware and software.
Purchasing Inventory – Monitor and create asset records from Purchase Orders daily.
Hardware
Desktop, Monitors, Laptops, Servers, Storage, Network
Create records based on Line Items
Confirm location
Software
Create records based on Line Item
Confirm location
Complete Missing Hardware Asset tickets
i. Confirm asset is missing via look up.
ii. Research if there is a PO assigned to it (OpsTrack for desktop, SN Ticket, P2P or receivers)
iii. Create records manually based of PO
Check Asset Management Email daily
Assist Intuit Receiving team as needed
Tracking of PO errors will be required
i. SW error rate has been started
ii. HW error rate will need to be established
Assist with Mergers & Acquisitions for Asset Services
i.Work with procurement, VMO & Steve Byrnes to obtain SW purchase &contract information associated with the following M&A's
Software Licensing
i.Manage Service Now requests: issue license
ii.Maintain manual license tracking form
All other data entry and management as assigned
Must possess strong knowledge of Software and Hardware Asset processes
Minimum of 3+ years of documentable Asset Services (Softwareand Hardware) duties.
Ability to research and perform work independently without direct supervision.
Proven leadership, change management, and process management skills.
Consultative, customer-focused approach to problem solving.
Ability to partner with teams across multiple organizations.
Ability to manipulate information from multiple databases to develop reports.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, switch priorities, and learn new/complex processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possessing Service Now's Asset Management experience is a plus
