Job Description:
Test web application that is used to deploy all of the applications developed by CTG. Responsible for all testing including test plans, test cases and automation. Testing will be at UI/Services using Selenium and RestAssured for automation.
Senior Quality Engineer：
• Deliver test strategy and comprehensive test plans in partnership with Product teams and with deep understanding of architecture/design
• Create and maintain automated functional tests to validate the various integration points with accuracy
• Define automated test libraries that minimize maintenance work, and enable quick and easy creation of new test cases
• Deliver innovative solutions to drive test automation for complex features and user experience
• Explore and adopt industry best practices to test Turbo Tax Web Marketing initiatives
• Own End-to-End quality and deliver automated functional tests, enable CI, reporting issues and integrate with metrics dashboard
• Actively engage in scrum, design discussions, and code reviews
• Communicate and partner with Quality Teams, Engineering/PD, and Product Management to enforce implementation and the use of quality attributes and key milestone criteria
• 5+ years experience conducting white box test design and functional testing with automation frameworks/harnesses (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium Web Driver, Jasmine)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with testing (including automated testing) of websites and web usability testing
Qualifications:
All quality engineers must have the following:
• BS or MS in computer science or engineering
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) patterns and principals: full stack development experience desired
• Experience testing applications using Enterprise Java/J2EE, Web Services, Web Development, and Java Script Frameworks
• Experience in an Agile environment using test driven development
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration, automation, and tools like Selenium
• knowledge of SaaS and cloud technologies as well as active-active/passive strategies
• knowledge and experience building automation frameworks, Big Data/NoSQL, Amazon AWS, HTML5, Angular or Backbone a plus
