General Financial
Analyst
Responsible for providing support to business groups, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of financial data/analyses for the business leaders who rely on and benefit from the information to make informed business decisions. Primary responsibilities to supporting Projects/Labs as the financial management controller for labs and projects; include lead the financial analysis team, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of business performance.
Responsibilities
- Interact frequently with senior level project managers and lab leaders Perform analysis, financial planning, financial advice and provide recommendations to senior management to achieve strategic goals
- Present for management and key internal stakeholders
- Manage the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecast processes
- Support the month end closing related to projects in system
- Develop and publish regular reporting (both customer acquisition & financial) to track results and progress against goals/KPIs – optimize Flash and Dashboard reporting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while appropriately prioritizing projects.
Professional Experience
- BA or above degree in economics, business, finance or related areas
- 1-5 year finance or accounting work experience and minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Comprehensive experience influencing and educating people
- Advanced analytical and technical skills
- Interpersonal skills, ability to interact and influence at all levels in the organization
- Communication skills at all levels in the organization
- Chinese and English bilingual is required
