The rescue hook is a specialized rescue tool designed for electric operation scenarios. Its core function is to isolate the current through insulating materials, preventing the rescuer and the person in distress from getting electrocuted simultaneously. At the same time, the hook design ensures a stable grip on the waist or armpit of the person in distress, ensuring the controllability of the rescue process. It is widely used in scenarios such as power maintenance, transmission line maintenance, and substation operations. In electric operation sites, when rescue personnel cannot immediately cut off the power supply, the insulating rescue hook is the only tool that can safely separate the person who has been electrocuted from the live body. The material & craftsmanship


We are participate in the compilation of the new national standard of Pultrusion weaving technique. The products comply with ASTM F711 and IEC 60855 standards, ensuring that the insulation performance and mechanical strength meet the requirements. Our tubes adopt the new pultruded braiding process and have obtained relevant patents, The dielectric strength is 100kV/300mm; Paint-free process to avoid the occurrence of paint damage or peeling. The hooks are made of φ18 steel tubes and U-shaped joints, and can be used for high-pressure detectors.  The handle is made of rubber material.

Product series & specification selection

Our rescue hooks are divided into three types.

01
Rescue hook

The first type is made of treated steel hooks with a diameter of 450mm and covered with a plastic insulation layer. It is not prone to deformation; the tube is designed in 1-2 sections. The product length is 1.0m - 3.0m; the load-bearing range is 100kg.

Rescue hook (NEWS)

The second type uses a tube with a diameter of 32mm, both ends equipped with moisture-proof sealing devices; the tube is designed in 1 section. The product length is 1.79m - 2.79m, with a load-bearing capacity of 80kg, and comes with a U-shaped steel hook.

Telescopic rescue hook

The third type is a telescopic rescue hook. The first section is a circular foam-filled tube with a diameter of 28mm, which can prevent moisture from entering; the second section is a pentagonal tube, which is not prone to slipping and can increase torque; the tube is designed in 2 sections; the product length is 1.3m - 2.0m, with a load-bearing capacity of 80kg; a universal interface is reserved at the top of the U-shaped hook, which can be used to attach a high-voltage tester. Before rescue, perform an electrical test.

Operation methods & usage scenarios

The operation of the insulated rescue hook should follow professional standards: The rescuer must wear insulating protective equipment, hold the insulating rod, precisely insert the hook body into the waist or armpit of the trapped person, and slowly drag it to a safe area. In the scenario of power line maintenance, it can be used to pull the trapped person away from the live conductors; in the operation of substations, it can be used to rescue the maintenance personnel who have been electrocuted. At the same time, the product can also be used in outdoor scenarios to push the cable away from the trapped person to avoid secondary injuries.
