首届中国国际消费品博览会(简称“消博会”)将于2021年5月7日至10日在海口举办。展会期间，海南将组织开展丰富多样的旅游消费活动。预计展会期间专业采购商将达3000-5000人，日接待消费者5万人次。
瑞士将担任首届消博会的主宾国，届时“瑞士制造”将为消博会增光添彩。在消博会倒计时100天启动仪式上（1月26日），瑞士驻华大使罗志谊发来祝贺视频。
“消博会对于瑞士而言将是一场盛会。瑞士担任首届消博会主宾国，是中瑞两国友好关系的见证，我们感到无比荣幸。” 罗志谊表示，消博会的举办，对于全球企业而言非常重要，从中可以看出海南自贸港建设正得到加快推进、中国融入世界经济发展的步伐在加快。

In only 100 days, the first Hainan Expo will open its doors. This will be an important milestone for China, Hainan Province and international business. Because Hainan Expo marks another great step in the development of Hainan Free Trade Port, and a new step of China’s integration into the global economic system.

But it will also be an important event for my country, since Switzerland has been selected as Guest Country of Honor at Hainan Expo. We feel privileged and honored by this decision and I would like to thank Hainan Provincial Government and Hainan IEDB for their trust in the potential of our collaboration.

The selection of Switzerland is a beautiful symbol for the excellent bilateral relations between China and Switzerland. Last year our two countries have celebrated 70 years of diplomatic relations, Switzerland being one of the first countries in the world recognizing the People’s Republic of China.
