中国(海南)—马来西亚槟城经贸交流会成功举办

Successfully Held China (Hainan)-Malaysia Penang Economic and Trade Exchange Meeting

今年是中马建立全面战略伙伴关系10周年，为充分发挥海南自贸港开放政策与RCEP叠加效应，更好地帮助马来西亚企业家了解海南自贸港，9月28日下午，海南国际经济发展局、海南自贸区全球贸易之窗管理有限公司和马来西亚槟城商企聚英协会（PPBEA）联合举办中国（海南）—马来西亚槟城经贸交流会，30余家马来西亚与海南企业的代表围绕自贸港机遇展开沟通交流，助力海南打造“两个总部基地”。

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Malaysia. In order to fully leverage the combined effects of the preferential policies of Hainan Free Trade Port and RCEP, the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (IEDB), Windows to Global Trade and the Penang Premium Business Enterprise Association (PPBEA) jointly held the China (Hainan) - Penang Malaysia Economic and Trade Exchange Meeting on 28th Sep 2023 to help Malaysian entrepreneurs better understand the preferential policies and industrial opportunities of Hainan Free Trade Port. Representatives of more than 30 Malaysian and Hainan enterprises have attended the meeting.

马来西亚槟城商企聚英协会总会长拿督斯⾥许廷忠表示，槟城商界非常关注海南自贸港发展，选择海南作为协会疫情后出国考察参观的第一站。通过今天的考察与座谈，加深了对海南自贸港的认识，希望未来能在新能源汽车、电子、热带农业、医药、电商服务等领域加深合作，促进两地投资与贸易的发展。

Dato’ Seri Khor Teng Tong said “The construction of Hainan Free Trade Port had drawn everybody’s attention, so that PPBEA has chosen Hainan as the first stop for overseas business visit after the epidemic.Through today's visit, we have deepened our understanding of competitive advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port. We believe that Hainan and Penang could deepen the cooperation in the fields of new energy vehicles, electronics, tropical agriculture, medicine, e-commerce services etc. PPEBA is keen to promoting the development of investment and trade between Penang and Hainan in the future.”

槟城，亦称“槟州”，意为槟榔之岛，是马来西亚十三个联邦州之一，位于马来西亚半岛西北侧，是马来西亚华人最多的州。2013年海南与槟城正式缔结友好省州关系。槟城在全球电子产业中拥有一席之地，特别是微电子组装和封测领域居国际领先地位，被誉为“东方硅谷”。槟城也是亚洲重要的会议及展览中心。

Penang, also known as "Penang State", meaning the island of Betel Nut, is one of the thirteen federal states in Malaysia. It is located on the northwest side of the Malaysian Peninsula and is the state with the most Chinese people in Malaysia.In 2013, Hainan and Penang officially established friendly province state relations. Penang is known as the "Oriental Silicon Valley" as it played significant role in the global electronics industry, especially in the field of semiconductor assembly and testing. Penang is also an famous conference and exhibition center in Asia.

马来西亚槟城商企聚英协会（Penang Premium Business Enterprise Association）成立于2018年,由槟城业发展、金融投资、科技、金饰、汽车、再循环、能源、铁属工业等领域有影响力企业家组成。

Penang Premium Business Enterprise Association was established in 2018 and is composed of distinguished leaders and elites from all the industrial fields, such as financial investment, technology, gold jewelry, automotive，energy and iron industries.
