The construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port is a major strategy of the country's reform and opening up in the new era that was personally planned and promoted by the General Secretary Xi Jinping. On January 8, 2025, the construction of the Hainan International Intelligent Logistics & Trade Cloud Port Project invested by SPSI officially kicked off in Jiangdong New Area, Haikou. More than 10 enterprises in international shipping, air freight, cross-border e-commerce, electronics and food processing agreed to settle in the park and signed agreement, respectively. These enterprises included Sinotrans Logistics (Hainan) Co., Ltd., DPD France, Genertec International Logistics Co., Ltd. and Hainan Logistics Group.
“海南国际智慧物贸云港”项目地处海南省海口市江东新区（临空经济区），距离海口美兰国际机场约5.8公里、海口市中心约27公里，项目总投资约3亿元，规划用地面积约60亩，计划建设通用智能仓、高标智能冷链仓、跨境物贸综合服务中心、国际高端食品加工中心、进口消费品展示体验馆等，已取得国际绿色低碳LEED预认证，建成运营后预计可实现年业务量100万吨、年外贸额20亿元，服务客户超200家。
Located in the Jiangdong New Area (Linkong Economic Area), Haikou, Hainan Province, the Hainan International Intelligent Logistics&Trade Cloud Port Project, about 5.8km away from Haikou Meilan International Airport and about 27km away from the downtown area of Haikou, has a total investment of about RMB 300 million and covers a planned land area of about 60 mu. It is planned to construct a general intelligent warehouse, a high-standard intelligent cold chain warehouse, a cross-border goods and trade comprehensive service center, an international high-end food processing center, an exhibition experience hall for imported consumer goods and other facilities in the port. Having obtained the international green and low-carbon LEED certification in advance, the project is expected to realize an annual business volume of 1 million tons, annual foreign trade turnover of RMB 2 billion and more than 200 service clients.

The project strives to be an important hub for high-level opening-up and build a cross-border comprehensive logistics & trade base in the Hainan Free Trade Port. As a major strategy for SPSI and SPSI Cloud Port to actively serve the country, the Hainan International Intelligent Logistics&Trade Cloud Port Project is a pragmatic initiative taken to connect Sichuan and Hainan, boost the efficient linkage between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Hainan Free Trade Port and promote the coordinated opening of coastal areas and inland areas.
“海南国际智慧物贸云港”以“国际双循、智慧智能、绿色低碳、消费示范、文化赋能”为建设理念，建成后将形成“一港三区四业态”的开放布局，与正在建设中的四川“天府国际智慧物贸云港”形成有效联动。依托陆海云港“跨境物贸生态圈”，进一步释放海南自贸港区位和资源优势，加速项目建设运营实效，打造海南自贸港高质量发展新增长点，服务成渝地区双城经济圈高水平对外开放。
Guided by the construction philosophy of "international dual circulation, smart intelligence, green and low-carbon concept, consumer demonstration and cultural empowerment", the Hainan International Intelligent Logistics&Trade Cloud Port will present an open layout of "one port, three zones, and four business patterns" upon completion and will dynamically integrate with the "Tianfu International Intelligent Logistics & Trade Cloud Port" that is now under construction. Relying on SPSI Cloud Port's cross-border logistics and trade ecosystem, the project will further unleash the location and resource advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port, accelerate efficient project construction and operation, create new growth points for the high-quality development of the Hainan Free Trade Port and serve the high-level opening-up of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
