A Letter to All Foreign Friends in Nanchong

针对近期新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情，四川省委、省政府高度重视，统一部署，于1月24日启动了全省重大突发公共卫生事件一级响应，各项疫情防控工作有序有效展开。在此，我局提醒在南的各位外籍人士：

To the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the CPC Sichuan Committee and Sichuan Provincial Government have attached great importance to it and made unified deployments. On January 24, 2020, the level I public health emergency response was initiated, the prevention and control work have been made in an orderly and effectively way. Hereby, we call attention to all foreign friends in Nanchong following practices:

南充市卫生健康委员会官方网站定时发布我市新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情情况。另外，您可以关注“健康四川官微”“健康南充”等官方媒体微信公众号，获取新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情官方权威信息通报，了解南充市定点医院名单和有关疫情防控指引措施等信息。

I. Follow authoritative information.  The official website of Nanchong Municipal Health Commission（http://wsjsw.nanchong.gov.cn ）will regularly publicize information of pneumonia cases caused by 2019-nCoV in Nanchong. You can also  follow official wechat public accounts such as “jiankangsichuan guanwei”“ncwjw120”for the updated information of the epidemic, the list of designated hospitals in Nanchong, and prevention and treatment guide. 

保持良好的个人卫生习惯，注意勤洗手。咳嗽、打喷嚏时应使用纸巾捂住口鼻，不随地吐痰，废弃口罩按规定规范投放。适当开窗通风，注意保持室内环境卫生。避免接触野生或禽类动物，减少生冷食物摄入，食用熟食，多喝热水。

II. Strengthen self-protection. Keep good hygiene by washing hands often with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer. Cover cough or sneeze with a tissue. No spitting. Dump used masks according to regulations. Keep proper ventilation and rooms clean.Avoid close contact with any wild animals or poultry. Eggs and meat should be thoroughly cooked. Drink more hot water.

尽量避免前往人员密集的场所，尽量减少聚会、聚餐等群体活动。若必须前往，请正确佩戴口罩。若出现发热、咳嗽、胸闷、乏力等症状，须佩戴口罩前往我市定点医疗机构就诊。

III. Minimize outdoor activities. Avoid crowded places, parties and group activities.Correctly wear a mask if you have to go and attend one. If you have mild to severe respiratory symptoms of fever, cough, breathing difficulty or fatigue,please go to a designated hospital with a mask on.

如果您近期曾到访过疫情高发地区或接触过疫情高发地区的来南人员，要密切关注自身的身体状况，尽量居家休息，减少外出活动。如有不适应当及时向当地疾病预防控制机构或指定部门报告。如果有当地政府、社区工作人员、医务人员做疫情防控登记询问您的情况，请予以理解支持并积极配合相关工作。

IV. Join in the massive prevention and control efforts. If you have visited the infected area (back to Nanchong), or contacted with people who are from the epidemic area, please closely observe your health condition, stay at home. If you feel uncomfortable please report to the local Disease Control authorities or designated departments. Please cooperate with government or community personnel or medical staff if they inquire about your condition.
