12月4日—7日,ABEC 2023 | 第10届中国(深圳)电池新能源产业国际高峰论坛在广东深圳举行。雄韬股份受邀出席,与海内外600+电池新能源上中下游全产业链的“政、产、学、研、金、服、用”各界代表,围绕“竞争or竞合,发现产业突围路径与蜕变力量”这一主题展开交流与分享。

12月6日,雄韬股份副总裁、CTO陈宏博士在分论坛上发表了《应用驱动下的新型电池技术创新与发展》的主题演讲,分享了双碳背景下的新型电池技术、雄韬氢能应用场景、燃料电池的技术创新与发展、雄韬新型电池技术应用案例。

2020年9月,我国明确提出2030年“碳达峰”与2060年“碳中和”目标。双碳目标提出三年以来,碳达峰碳中和“1+N”政策体系已经构建完成。双碳背景下清洁可再生能源是必然选择,锂电、钠电、氢燃料电池等新型电池技术迎来新的发展机遇期。

任何一种储能电池有优势,必然就有劣势。比如锂电,可能低温性能不太好。氢能,目前来讲虽然它的优势是长周期、长续航、跨区域调整比较好,但是比较贵。钠电池,低温性能特别好,但是目前产业化还没有完全起来。而锂电池、钠电池的储能场景里,大部分应用于工商业和和调峰调频削峰填谷领域。

除了锂电和钠电,陈宏博士还重点分析了氢能储能发展机遇,主要来自以下几个方面:

一是配套新能源项目,政策配套新能源风电或者光电指标;二是电力辅助服务收益,新型储能辅助服务保供时期顶峰价格1000元/MWh,非保供时期顶峰价格;800元/MWh,填谷价格300元/MWh;三是电力现货市场交易,减少风电、光电储能投资,租赁创收;四是“源”——解决弃风弃光问题,推广于新疆、内蒙等新能源聚集地,充分利用弃风弃光能源;五是“荷”——电能转换为氢能 ,氢消纳于氢冶金、氢化工、氢动力;六是 “储”——共享储能,在特定的电力交易时间内,通过议价方式购买电量。

针对氢能成本较高的问题,陈宏博士提出了氢钠储能方案:氢钠储能的优势,首先是安全性互补,钠电安全为氢储能保驾护航,还有一个是经济性互补,钠电低成本缓解短期氢电高成本。周期性互补,不管是钠电还是锂电,跟氢能去匹配,化学电源就是2-4小时,氢能储能可以做到12小时乃至24小时、周、月、年,两者结合起来,对于应对不同的储能调度场景是非常有帮助的。

雄韬股份首创输出功率1MW的集装箱式质子交换膜燃料电池发电单元,通过高度集成化和模块化的设计,把燃料电池发电和储氢系统集成到集装箱内,燃料电池发电单元体积功率密度高达20kW/m³,发电单元最高效率60%以上,额定效率50%以上,寿命20,000H+。

The 10th ABEC, Advanced Batteries for xEV/ESS Conference was held in Shenzhen from December 4th to 7th. Vision Group was invited to attend the forum to communicate with over 600 representatives from the battery new energy industry, focusing on the theme of "Competition or Competitiveness, Discovering the Path of Industrial Breakthrough and the Power of Metamorphosis".

Chen Hong,the Vice President and CTO of Vision Group, delivered a speech on "New Battery Technologies Innovation and Development Driven by Application" in the forum, sharing the new battery technologies under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, hydrogen energy application scenarios of Vision Group, the technological innovation and development of fuel cells, and application cases of Vision Group's new battery technologies.

In September 2020, China clearly put forward the 2030 "carbon peak" and 2060 "carbon neutrality" targets. Over the past three years, "1+N" policy framework for carbon peak and carbon neutrality has been built. Under the background of carbon peak and neutrality targets, clean renewable energy is the inevitable choice, and new battery technologies such as lithium, sodium-ion, and hydrogen battery will come into a new period of opportunity.

There are pros and cons to all kinds of energy storage battery.For example, lithium battery has poor low-temperature performance. Hydrogen fuel battery has the advantages of long cycle, long battery life, cross-regional adjustment, but the price is much higher.Sodium-ion battery has excellent low-temperature performance, but is not yet industrialized. Lithium battery and sodium-ion battery are widely used in the field of industrial and commerce and peak load shifting.

In addition to lithium and sodium-ion battery, Dr.Chen also focused on analyzing the development opportunity of hydrogen energy storage from the following aspects:

First, introducing policies of new energy performance indicators. Second,  using electric power to gain service revenue. Third,  reducing investment of wind power and photovoltaic power energy storage, instead of leasing to create revenue. Fourth, optimizing abandonment of wind and solar power in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and other regions rich in new energy resources. Fifth, converting electricity into hydrogen energy, which can be consumed in the field of hydrogen metallurgy, hydrogen chemical industry and hydrogen power. Sixth, sharing energy storage. Purchase electricity through bargaining during specific power trading hours.

In response to the high cost of hydrogen energy, Dr. Chen proposed a solution of hydrogen energy and sodium-ion battery storage with several advantages.One is that the safety of sodium-ion battery can protect hydrogen energy storage. The other is that the low cost of sodium-ion battery can alleviate the high cost problem of hydrogen fuel battery in short-term. Whether sodium-ion battery or lithium battery, once it matches with hydrogen fuel battery, the chemical power can reach 2-4 hours and the hydrogen fuel battery storage can reach 12 hours or even 24 hours, weeks, months, and years, which is very helpful to deal with different energy storage scheduling scenarios.

The containerized Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell power generation unit with an output power of 1MW pioneered by Vision Group, integrates the fuel cell power generation and hydrogen storage system into a container through a highly integrated and modular design.The volume power density of the fuel cell power generation unit up to 20kW/m³, the maximum efficiency of the power generation unit reaches more than 60%, the rated efficiency reaches more than 50%, and the lifespan reaches 20,000H+.

In the end, Dr. Chen analyzed four advantages of the new battery technologies:

Efficient and fast charging. New battery technologies can achieve faster charging speeds, making it possible to greatly shorten the time of charging electric cars, smartphones, and other devices with high efficiency.

High energy density. New battery technologies have higher energy density, meaning the same size battery can provide a longer battery life, which is especially important for mobile devices.

Long Life. New battery technologies have a longer battery life, which can greatly reduce the cost and frequency of battery replacement, as well as reduce the number of discarded battery and save the environment.

High Safety. New battery technologies adopt a safer chemical system, reducing the probability of battery combustion, explosion and other safety issues.
