“苏式记译” | 语言大白，江苏盛意

江苏省，地跨长江、淮河南北，既是数千年历史的见证者，也是我国蓬勃发展的亲历者。辖江临海的江苏，拥有着全国最多的港口，是我国对外贸易大省。截止至2021年，江苏省有着八千五百多万常住人口，经济强省的地位不断地吸引着来自世界各国的人才以及企业前来发展，见证着这海纳百川的徐扬大地日渐蓬勃，一起缔造着属于世界的苏式记忆。

   一场突如其来的疫情打乱了我们每个人的生活节奏，而近期奥密克戎的爆发，江苏省也不断地细化日常防疫防控的工作，对需要的省市主动支援，守望相助。但作为对外贸易窗口的江苏，众多外籍人士和防疫工作人员、志愿者都面临因语言不同而无法交流的困难。

    为此，我们的“语言大白”来了!

    Trans On语言大白将为江苏省疫情防控以及江苏企业提供 “ 无接触 ” 的云端即时性口译公益服务，保障涉外防疫语言和商务交流再无障碍。

    南京航空航天大学、南京理工大学、东南大学、南京师范大学、河海大学、南京工业大学、南京邮电大学、南京财经学院、南京信息工程大学、中国药科大学、南京医科大学、扬州大学、江苏大学、江南大学、南通大学，苏州科技大学、江苏科技大学等17所在苏高校外语学院以及江苏省教育国际交流协会，联合同济大学人工智能语言研究院和Trans On共同发起「苏式记译，语言大白志愿者」行动，在此次公益活动中提供多语言的免费翻译服务，贡献一份微薄的力量。

志愿服务所涉及的语种包括：

中英、中德、中法、中日、中韩、中西、中俄，中阿，中葡。

Jiangsu, located at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and Huaihe River; has witnessed ancient civilization and splendid history, as well as recent decades of rapid development. As the only province in China that is home to important seas, rivers and lakes, Jiangsu has the largest number of ports and is one of the most important provinces for foreign trade in China. With strong economic potential and opportunities, Jiangsu has been attracting talents and enterprises from all over the world.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has disrupted everyone's life and all the cities in Jiangsu are facing a new phase of prevention and control due to the recent Omicron outbreak. As the window of foreign trading, multi-language communication in epidemic prevention is inevitable in Jiangsu. 

Therefore, here comes the “Jiangsu Anycall Volunteer Interpreting”.

Trans On volunteers are here for Jiangsu epidemic prevention and Jiangsu enterprises in providing the "contactless" multi-language communication service.

Languages provided in this campaign include:

(Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese and more.)

The initiative is jointly launched by Tongji Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Language Education, Trans On, and Jiangsu Education Association for International Exchange, and 17 foreign languages schools at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University, Hohai University, Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing University Of Finance & Economics, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing Medical University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu University, Jiangnan University, Nantong University, Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, for the communication between staff and foreigners from all over the world in Jiangsu.
