“浙式唯译” | 语言大白，钱江之意

浙江省，是中国古代文明的发祥地之一，也是自古以来人杰地灵的江南水乡。浙式唯一，除了闻名古今中外的西湖美景，还有世界最长运河—京杭大运河以及被誉为 “ 世界小商品之都 ” 的义乌。作为我国经济强省以及文化强省，浙江有着6450万的常住人口，而义乌市，更是有着8000余名外商常住人口。浓厚的科技创新氛围以及商业资源，一直吸引着世界各国的人才前来发展，真正地使 “ 中国制造 ”、 “ 中国创新 ” 走向世界。

   自2019年年底以来，一场突如其来的疫情打乱了我们每个人的生活节奏，而近期奥密克戎的爆发，浙江省作为拥有6540万人口的大省，也不断地细化日常防疫防控的工作，对需要的省市主动支援，守望相助。

    而在世界贸易中占有重要位置的浙江，更是不乏大量的来浙外籍人员出现因语言不通而无法与防疫人员进行有效交流的两难困境。彼时，身兼数职的防疫人员在面临紧张的疫情局势之外，也面临着因语言差异带来的种种困难。

    为此，我们的“语言大白”来了!

    Trans On语言大白将为浙江省疫情防控以及浙江企业提供“无接触”的云端口译即时性的公益服务，保障涉外语言和业务交流再无障碍。

    浙江师范大学、浙江工商大学、浙江理工大学、浙江工业大学、浙江财经大学、杭州师范大学、浙江农林大学、杭州电子科技大学、浙江传媒学院、浙江中医药大学、温州大学等11所在浙高校外语学院，联合同济大学人工智能语言研究院、浙江省互联网公益慈善基地和Trans On共同发起「浙式唯译，语言大白」志愿者行动，提供多语言的免费翻译服务，贡献一份微薄的力量。

志愿服务所涉及的语种包括：

中英、中德、中法、中日、中韩、中西、中俄，中阿，中葡。

Zhejiang is one the birthplaces of ancient Chinese Civilization and has rich cultural heritage. The Province has the world known picturesque West Lake, the longest Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and the world largest market, Yiwu Commodity wholesale market. With its strong economy and culture, Zhejiang has a population of 64.5 million, including 8000 foreign businessmen in Yiwu. The dynamic economy and business resources have attracted talents from all over the world, globalizing "Made-in-China" and "Created in China" products of all varieties. 

Since 2019, the COVID-19 has disrupted everyone’s life and all the cities in Zhejiang are facing a new phase of prevention and control due to the recent Omicron outbreak. With the busy world trading business activities, multi-language communication in epidemic prevention is inevitable.

Therefore, here comes the “Zhejiang Anycall Volunteer Interpreting”.

Trans On volunteers are here for Zhejiang epidemic prevention and Zhejiang enterprises in building the “green channel” in multi-language communication without language barrier.

Languages provided in this campaign include:

(Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese and more.)

The initiative is jointly launched by Tongji Academy of Artificial Intelligence, 

Zhejiang Internet Public Welfare Base and Language Education and Trans On, with 11 Schools of Foreign Languages at Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, Hangzhou Normal University, Zhejiang A&F University, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Communication University of Zhejiang, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, Wenzhou University, for the communication between staffs and foreigners from all over the world in Zhejiang.
