海南省，位于中国的最南端，是与大海相依的“天涯海角”，也是一万年前就已存在着人类痕迹的历史琼州。海南是全国面积最大的省，也是我国经济特区以及自由贸易试验区；而省会城市海口，更是国家“一带一路”的战略支点城市。海南在经济上以及地理上的特殊性，更是奠定了其贸易进出口的蓬勃发展。一千多万的人口里，更是不乏海内外的人才成为了琼海大地的新兴居民，共同建设着海南自贸港，见证着与海角相依的琼州以惊人的速度震撼世界。
自2019年年底以来，一场突如其来的疫情打乱了我们每个人的生活节奏。面对近期奥密克戎的爆发，海南省不断细化日常防疫防控，守望相助，主动支援其他省市。但在这一方红色热土，众多来自五湖四海的外籍人士却可能因为语言不通而无法与防疫人员进行有效交流。

海南大学、海南师范大学、三亚学院、海南医学院、海南热带海洋学院、琼台师范学院、海口经济学院、海南经贸职业技术学院等8所在琼高校外语学院，联合同济大学人工智能语言研究院和Trans On共同发起「琼州遇译 · 语言大白」志愿者行动，提供多语言的免费翻译服务，贡献一份微薄的力量。
志愿服务所涉及的语种包括：
中英、中德、中法、中日、中韩、中西、中俄，中阿，中葡。

Hainan Province is located at the southernmost of China. It is a historical province with human being traces back 10,000 years ago. Moreover, Hainan is the largest province in China, the special economic zone and the one and only Hainan free trade port. As the capital city of Hainan, Haikou is one of the major strategical cities of “the Belt and Road”. Hainan's particularity in economy and geography has laid the foundation for the vigorous development of its trade and import. With all the distinctiveness, Hainan has more than 10 million population including talents from all over the world to jointly contribute to this extraordinary province.
Since 2019, the COVID-19 has disrupted everyone’s life and all the cities in Hainan are facing a new phase of prevention and control due to the recent Omicron outbreak. With the busy world trading business activities, multi-language communication in epidemic prevention is inevitable.
Therefore, here comes the
“Hainan Anycall Volunteer Interpreting”.
Languages provided in this campaign include:

The initiative is jointly launched by Tongji Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Trans On, with 8 Schools of Foreign Languages at Hainan University, Hainan Normal University, University of Sanya, Hainan Medical University, Hainan Tropical Ocean University, Qiongtai Normal University, Haikou University of Economics, Hainan College of Economics and Business, for the communication between staffs and foreigners from all over the world in Hainan.
