“义”起战“疫” ｜ 语言大白在行动

      “气压江城十四州”的金华，北接杭州、西连衢州、南街丽水、东看绍兴，是浙江发展壮大城市圈的重要一级，义乌则作为一颗闪亮的明星闪耀在八婺大地之上。金华义乌小商品一向作为“中国制造”的代表闻名于世。每年到义乌采购的境外客商超过56万人次，不同肤色、国家、民族、文化、信仰的人来到义乌。世界多种民俗文化、饮食文化、宗教文化等在此交融。

为坚决阻断新冠肺炎疫情传播，根据有关疫情防控规定，要求非必要不出市，其中不乏出现因语言不通而无法与防疫人员进行有效交流的两难困境。按照以往，8月正值海外订单采购旺季，可货主们都隔离管控在家，关键时刻无法快速调动团队响应客单需求；同时，我们身兼数职的防疫人员也面临着因语言差异带来的种种困难：

  为此，我们的语言大白来了！

      浙江省金华市工商联、浙江省义乌市外事办、浙江省互联网公益慈善基地、同济大学人工智能语言研究院和TransOn联合浙江师范大学、浙江工商大学等11所在浙高校外语学院共同发起浙江省义乌市的“语言大白”外语志愿者行动，部署浙江省义乌市的公共外语口译应急服务平台。

      为切实保障买卖全球的“世界货地”全球转不停，“义”结“金”兰，TransOn语言大白将为浙江省疫情防控以及全浙企业提供“无接触”的云端口译即时性的公益服务，保障涉外语言和业务交流再无障碍。

志愿服务所涉及的语种包括：

中英、中德、中法、中日、中韩、中西、中俄，中阿，中葡。

Jinhua is the significant city that has always been influential to the surrounding 14 counties. With Hangzhou to the north, Quzhou to the west, Lishui to the south and Shaoxing to the east, Jinhua is one of the most important cities in the strategic global development of Zhejiang province. Yiwu is not only the city that represent “made in China”, it is also the starting point of the world of “New Silk Road”. The world's largest wholesale market for small consumer goods has been gathering retailers, businessmen, entrepreneurs with different cultures and background from all over the world. 

Since 2019, the COVID-19 has disrupted everyone’s life and Yiwu is facing a new phase of prevention and control due to the recent Omicron outbreak. As the world known international trading center, multi-language communication in epidemic prevention is inevitable in Yiwu.

Therefore, here comes the “Yiwu Anycall Volunteer Interpreting”. 

The initiative is jointly launched by Zhejiang Jinhua Federation of Industry and Commerce, Zhejiang Yiwu Department of Foreign Affairs, Zhejiang Internet Public Welfare Base, Tongji Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Language Education and Trans On, with 11 Schools of Foreign Languages at Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, etc. for the communication between staff and foreigners from all over the world in Zhejiang Yiwu.

Anycall volunteers are here for Yiwu in building the “green channel” for multi-languages communication in epidemic control and international trading businesses without geographic and language barrier.

or connect to your designated consultant if you have any question or would like to conduct business conference on Trans On

2.Download TransOn APP and Log in

3.Activate your language card and click “AnyCall” to start

Steps to use “AnyCall”:

1.Click “AnyCall” on home page

2.Select target language that needs to be interpreted

3.Call and connect to your designated interpreter volunteer

Steps of using "AnyCall" in business setting:

1.Click “Start Conference” on home page to start a “business conference”

2.Enter the conference and select target language that needs to be interpreted

3.Reserve an authorized interpreter by using the language card

4.Share the conference code and invite conference members
