Recently, the bilingual public signs optimization project in the pilot community of the Yuehai Sub-district has been successfully completed. Implemented by the Yuehai Enterprise Service Center, the project aimed to enhance the bilingual signs and linguistic environment within Yuehai Sub-district.
近日，粤海街道双语标识优化项目在试点小区圆满完成。此项目由粤海国际化企业服务交流中心实施，旨在优化粤海街道的双语标识，改善粤海国际化街区语言环境。本次项目在实施过程中，充分整合了前期通过实地走访收集的各类资料，确保了项目的精准性和针对性。
十年树木，百年树人
On May 15th, the project sharing meeting was held, members from Yuehai Sub-district international volunteers team attended the meeting. They shared experiences and suggestions, emphasizing the project's role in improving the Sub-district's internationalization level and providing a better living environment for both local and expat residents.
在5月15日举行的项目分享会上，多名外籍志愿者参与活动，共同对此次双语标识优化项目进行了经验总结、分享与建议。他们认为，此次项目的推进不仅能进一步提高粤海街道的国际化水平，还能为更多中外居民营造便捷、舒适的生活环境。

Volunteers also shared valuable experiences that accumulated during their participation in the project. They made valuable suggestions for future bilingual sign optimization work, such as the expats' demand for bilingual signs in certain scenes and the need for specific context translations.
志愿者们也在会上分享了他们在参与活动过程中积累的宝贵经验，如外籍人士对某些场景的双语标识的需求，以及特定语境下的双语翻译方式等，并为未来的双语标识改造工作提出了宝贵建议。

Since the beginning of the project, Yuehai Sub-district has gathered wide-ranging feedback and made efforts to meet the needs of the community. Residents of the pilot community have expressed that the optimized and standardized bilingual signs will facilitate their daily lives. They also look forward to interacting with more expats and sharing the wonderful life in Yuehai Sub-district.
自项目启动以来，粤海街道高度重视，并广泛收集意见、精准对接需求，积极采纳外籍志愿者们的建议，结合多方力量对街道内的公共设施、消费商圈、交通标识等进行了整理校对。小区的居民也表示，双语标识优化与规范化，也将给他们的生活带来便利，同时他们期待与更多外国友人交流，共同分享粤海街道的美好生活。

The implementation of this project showcases Yuehai Sub-district's commitment to internationalization and multicultural inclusivity. Plans are in place to expand the project to other key public areas within Yuehai Sub-district, which will further enhance its international appeal and continue to foster cooperation with international volunteers.
针对辖区双语标识的优化，充分体现了粤海街道对国际化的重视和对多元文化的包容。同时，街道将不断深化与外籍志愿者的合作，充分发挥他们的专长和独特视角，为后续工作提供更多支持，为构建和谐、包容的多元文化国际化街区构建贡献力量。
