Cloisonné Enamel Painting

Cloisonné Enamel Painting originated from the "Copper-body Cloisonné Enamel," also known as Jingtailan. With over 600 years of history, Cloisonné was first introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty's Jingtai era. While traditional Cloisonné crafts on three-dimensional objects, the emergence of Cloisonné enamel painting transfers this once palace-used technique onto flat surfaces.
景泰蓝掐丝珐琅画的制作工艺脱胎于“铜胎掐丝珐琅”，后者又被称为景泰蓝。景泰蓝自元代传入中国，明代景泰年间技艺达到高峰，拥有600多年历史。景泰蓝是在打造的立体器型上进行掐丝、点蓝、烧制等工艺制作而成，而景泰蓝掐丝珐琅画则是将宫廷御用珐琅技法移植到画板上的特种绘画，既突破了工艺和载体的限制，又保留了景泰蓝独特的肌理与立体层次感，将现代科技和传统工艺完美结合。

On August 17th, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Handicraft Workshop: Cloisonné" was hosted at the Yuehai Enterprise Service Center. It attracted numerous participants from international enterprises, chambers of commerce, and volunteers, all gathering to experience the enchantment of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.
8月17日，"Feel the Culture, 最IN粤海——2023粤海街道非遗文化季"在粤海国际化企业服务交流中心拉开序幕，首场活动以景泰蓝非遗手工坊为主题，吸引了辖区众多企业、国际商协会及国际志愿者代表参与，在传播中国非遗传统文化的同时，营造了粤海良好的国际化文化氛围。

Through the presentation from the instructor, everyone gained a comprehensive understanding of Cloisonné's history, production processes, and the transformation of this craft from its original application on three-dimensional objects to its adaptation onto flat paintings.
通过现场指导老师精彩的分享，大家了解了景泰蓝的前世今生，以及景泰蓝掐丝珐琅这一原本只于立体物件上施展的技艺是如何被运用于平面画作之上，历经时光洗礼并发扬光大。

While the Cloisonné enamel painting craft has been simplified compared to traditional methods, it still proved challenging for many of our friends.
景泰蓝掐丝珐琅画对比传统景泰蓝掐丝珐琅虽然在工艺经过了简化，但实际上手时依旧难倒了不少人。
"Why isn't my metal wire sticking properly? Why isn't the wire aligning correctly with the pattern?" People were trying on their own works and sharing interesting experiences with each other.
“为什么我的黏的丝总是掉？为什么金属丝和图案总对不准？”大家一边尝试一边愉快地与身旁的伙伴们分享着自己遇到的“小困难”。
With the guidance of the instructor, everyone started to get the hang of it, and many unique artworks started taking shape.
在现场非遗老师手把手的细心指导下，大家逐渐掌握了要领，一幅幅独具特色的作品也逐渐成型。
As the event came to an end, everyone shared their artwork and feelings amidst laughter and cheerful conversations.
活动尾声，大家在欢声笑语中分享着自己的作品和感受。
"It was a delightful session learning about Cloisonné and how to create beautiful pieces of art. We all had such a wonderful afternoon," Ms. Sava from SWIC said.
“今天下午的活动非常有趣，我们在这里学习了许多关于景泰蓝的知识并亲自体验了如何制作景泰蓝掐丝珐琅画，”来自深圳国际妇女汇（SWIC）的Sava女士说道。
Esma, an international student from Shenzhen University said, "I'm so glad to be a part of this event today! It not only introduced us to the traditional Chinese craft of Cloisonné but also provided us with the opportunity to interact with international friends in Yuehai.It feels like we are a big family here in Yuehai, making me feel warm and connected."
来自深圳大学的土耳其留学生Esma（阿诗玛）兴奋地表示：“今天能参加这个活动真的太棒了！不仅让我们了解了中国的景泰蓝传统技艺，还能与在粤海的中外朋友更加亲近交流。大家就像是一个大家庭一样，让我感觉在粤海生活十分温馨。”
In the future, Yuehai Sub-district will host even more exciting experience activities like this, together with friends from both China and abroad, we could bring new vitality into these priceless intangible cultural heritages and build Yuehai a colorful homeland for all!
此次景泰蓝非遗手工坊是2023粤海街道非遗文化季的首场活动，后续，粤海街道也将通过更多精彩的非遗文化体验活动，与中外友人一道，传承发展中华优秀传统文化，让宝贵的文明穿越时光，在国际交流中迸发出新的活力。
