Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP) has brought the first 20 industrial parks tied to Plan México into operation, marking an early private-sector milestone for the federal government’s industrial strategy. Backed by more than USD 711 million in investment, the projects add 3.5 million m² of capacity across 10 key states and reinforce Mexico’s ability to attract nearshoring-driven manufacturing and logistics investment.

Mexican private industrial developers have begun translating one of the federal government’s most compelling industrial policy promises into operational infrastructure. Developers affiliated with the Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP) have already put their first 20 industrial parks into operation.
这些项目加起来新增了350万平方米的运营面积，可容纳约245家制造和物流公司，预计可创造62000个直接就业岗位。
Together, these projects add 3.5 million m² of operating area and could host about 245 manufacturing and logistics companies, generating an estimated 62,000 direct jobs.

Altagracia Gómez, Coordinator, Regional Economic Development and Relocation Advisory Council (CADERR) presented the milestone during AMPIP’s first 2026 General Assembly, acknowledging the coordination between the federal government and industrial developers. Gómez led the recognition of 15 industrial real estate developers that materialized and put into operation the first 20 parks under the Plan México goal.
