全球故事触手可及的今天，你是否对身边的人和事仍心存好奇？疫情期间，外出受限，越来越多的人开始发掘属于自己社区的声音和连结。一条街道，一幢建筑，一个在地的小团体，都可能有着精彩丰富的故事。
作为Sixth Tone首届英文非虚构写作大赛的系列活动之一，Sixth Tone将于2022年4月3日下午2点至4点，围绕“在地化写作”这一主题，通过腾讯会议举办一次英文线上分享活动。本次活动将以书写上海本地的经验为切入口。
我们邀请到了来自非虚构写作平台“三明治”的李梓新和宋羽，来自上海英文非虚构写作团体 “Inkwell” 的 Hannah Lund 和 Ryan Thorpe 来分享他们的经验和建议。 本次活动由Sixth Tone的特写编辑Dominic Morgan主持。
来自“三明治”平台的两位嘉宾，将着重讲述写作对于社区观察，记录和理解普通人与城市关系的重要意义。
跨文化、跨语言的写作，一直是Ryan Thorpe的关注重点，他会分享如何在陌生文化中描摹人物、构建叙事的心得。
Hannah Lund写作经验丰富，对于如何敏锐发掘本地故事，保持写作的好奇心，以及叙述者角色的处理问题，她有着独到的见解。

嘉宾简介
李梓新：三明治平台创始人，曾为国际政治记者，著有《民主是个技术活儿》、《灾难如何报道》、《生活不在别处：年轻中国人的焦虑与狂欢》等书。
宋羽：哥伦比亚大学历史保护硕士，三明治平台研究员，曾任浙江大学建筑设计研究院研究员。
Ryan Thorpe：英文非虚构写作团体Inkwell的执行主任，目前在上海交通大学密西根学院教授写作。
Hannah Lund：写作者，译者，英文非虚构写作团体Inkwell的负责人。

As the pandemic has limited travel, people around the world are rediscovering their own communities. Ahead of this year’s inaugural China Writing Contest, Sixth Tone is pleased to announce a new webinar focused on local storytelling. Our panelists include Li Zixin, founder of the Shanghai-based nonfiction writing platform Sandwichina; Song Yu, an urban researcher at Sandwichina; Hannah Lund, the head of the Inkwell nonfiction writing group; and Ryan Thorpe, associate teaching professor of writing at UM-SJTU and the executive director of Inkwell.
