In this sunny March when the spring has set in, the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs) and Bao'an District Human Resources Bureau jointly held the 2023 Shenzhen Foreign Talent Tennis Tournament. The event attracted players from the UK, Germany, Hungary, France and Sweden to swing the racket for health and fun.
Li Huilai, Deputy Director of the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Director-General of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, extended warm welcome and sincere greetings to the foreign talents. She said, Shenzhen is stepping up efforts to improve management for expatriates working in the city and services for foreign experts. By offering one-stop residence and work procedure, setting up service stations in sub-districts and optimizing high-end talent recognition and permanent residence recommendation, the authorities are bound to offer foreign professionals more convenience, comfort and happiness. She then invited foreigners to participate in the 21th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals, a grand event that endeavors to promote scientific and technological innovation and foster cooperation and exchange of talents around the world, which is scheduled to be held on April 15-16 in Shenzhen. In the future, more events will be launched to facilitate foreign talents and build together a beautiful future of the city.
Yan Hu, Director of Bao'an District Human Resources Bureau said that platforms like Bao’an District International Talent Service Station will continue to provide high-quality, efficient and convenient services to the foreigners and make Bao’an a charming and active place for people living and working here to feel belonged and achieve their dreams.
The tournament has seen excellent competitions and reaped a lot of cheers. The participants became friends in the games and improved their skills. The winner and runner-up were from Iran and France respectively.Chen Ying, Director of Foreign Expert and Talent Services Department of the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, and Xu Sheng, Deputy Director of Bao'an District Human Resources Bureau, presented awards to the winning players and took group pictures.
