The second day of our arrival in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, was the Beginning of Autumn in China. The temperature on the ground at the airport was 16 degrees Celsius, with light rain. Compared to Lanzhou, there was a slight coolness. However, every encounter and every smiling face that greeted us made us feel exceptionally warm.
A tall and elegant gentleman approached us, holding flowers in his hands. He was Mr. Andrei Krivoshcheyev, Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Journalists and Chairman of the Minsk News Agency. Despite a slight delay of our flight, he had been waiting at the airport for nearly an hour. With a smile, he shook hands with each of us one by one, genuinely and warmly, as if we were old friends.

Cordial communication
Another gentleman who was at the airport was Mr. Lu Guoping, Chief Representative of Gansu's Business Representative Office in Belarus and Chief Representative of China Gansu International Economic and Technological Cooperation Co., Ltd., who has studied and then lived in Belarus for 16 years. With his thoughtful and meticulous care, he arranged our itinerary and accommodations, making us feel at home.
In the following days, whether it was people we got close to or those we passed by, everyone was friendly and peaceful. Whether it was staying at the hotel, strolling in the market, or visiting various places, we encountered genuine goodwill and a sense of integration in every inquiry and conversation. The people of Belarus are straightforward, reasonable, and highly value etiquette. More importantly, they are very friendly towards China and the Chinese people.
