Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou onto the world stage
Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou is an epic novel written by Ye Zhou, an outstanding contemporary writer and poet in China, after four years of painstaking efforts. It focuses on the history, culture and fine national spirit of Hexi Corridor.
《凉州十八拍》是中国当代实力派作家、诗人叶舟呕心沥血四载，创作完成的一部聚焦河西走廊历史、文化和优良民族精神的史诗性长篇小说。
Since its publication in December 2022, Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou has gained widespread popularity by the readers, and has been reprinted four times in a row so far. Moreover, it has dominated the best-seller list of various literary books and the best book list of many major media.
《凉州十八拍》自2022年12月出版问世以来，市场反响热烈，迄今已连续加印四次，并在各大文学图书销售榜和各大媒体好书排行榜榜上有名。
On the afternoon of June 15, the “Copyright Promotion and Signing Ceremony for the Joint Publication of Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou” sponsored by Zhejiang Publishing United Group and organized by Zhejiang Literature & Art Publishing House, was held at the 29th Beijing International Book Fair.
6月15日下午，由浙江出版联合集团主办、浙江文艺出版社承办的“《凉州十八拍》海外版权推介暨签约仪式”，在第二十九届北京国际图书博览会举办。
At that time, Ye Zhou, the writer of Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou, attended the ceremony and introduced his original intention and feelings of writing this book. In addition, representatives of Mandarin Publishing Group, Current Publication Pvt., Ltd, Al Bousalah for Publishing & Distribution FZE, Mundilibros S.A de C.V., Editura Integral and Zhejiang Literature & Art Publishing House signed cooperation agreements on the translation and publishing of Eighteen Stanzas of Liangzhou with Ye Zhou and Zhejiang Literature and Art Publishing House.
And the book will be translated and published in various languages including Spanish, Romanian, Arabic, Thai and Nepali. The cooperation agreement will be one of the symbolized achievements of Chinese literature going abroad at this International Book Fair. (Translator: He Zheng)
《凉州十八拍》的作者叶舟出席仪式并介绍自己创作本书的初衷和感想，并且泰国曼德琳出版集团、尼泊尔当代出版公司、阿联酋指南针出版社、西班牙世界书籍出版社、罗马尼亚集成出版社等家多家海外出版机构代表在现场与叶舟和浙江文艺出版社签订《凉州十八拍》的西班牙语、罗马尼亚语、阿拉伯语、泰语、尼泊尔语等语种的翻译出版合作协议，达成本届图书博览会中国文学走出去的标志性成果之一。（翻译：何征）
