Shiitake mushrooms from Kangle make global debut

On Aug 29, a shipment of fresh shiitake mushrooms from Kangle county in Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture, Gansu province, successfully reached the South Korean market after passing inspection by Jincheng Customs, a branch of Lanzhou Customs.
This shipment, consisting of 30 boxes weighing a total of 120 kilograms, marks the first time that fresh shiitake mushrooms from Gansu have been exported to South Korea.
To ensure the smooth export of this inaugural batch, Jincheng Customs collaborated with the Lanzhou Customs village work team to provide tailored support to local businesses. They assigned dedicated personnel to educate companies on relevant export food policies and regulations, guiding them to enhance quality control throughout the processing stages.
By streamlining the green channel for inspection and clearance of perishable agricultural products, and utilizing such facilitation measures as contactless approvals and cloud-based issuance of inspection and quarantine certificates, they effectively reduced clearance times.
"We will continue to strengthen and expand the 'Customs Director-Enterprise Liaison' mechanism, conduct frontline research, and promptly address the export needs of businesses," said Wang Hongliang, director of Jincheng Customs. "By educating enterprises on the laws, regulations, technical standards, and inspection requirements of major trading countries and regions, we are fully committed to supporting the growth of Gansu's edible mushroom industry and contributing to rural revitalization."
