不言而喻，森木赛姆传说这个概念源自新疆龟兹的森木赛姆石窟艺术。概念本身带有神秘、荒莽与文明交融的基因，展览也从具体的地理概念升华为精神文化符号。
侯吉明如同一位当代的朝圣者，深入历史腹地，并将其转化于画布之上、充满生命律动的视觉图像。其一直守持的意象表现绘画嫁接了古代文明与当代精神，但作品却不是对石窟壁画的写照，而是艺术家用生命体验与艺术修养构成新的形态，通过综合材料与古典色彩的当代实验，体验矿物质颜色与墨、胶等的融合，创造属于创作者的斑驳传说。意象表现绘画作品展不仅是画作本身，更是构成了文化寻根与艺术再造的范本。
侯吉明试图告诉我们，当下的艺术表现完全可以与优秀传统文化同频。

It goes without saying that the concept of the Senmusaim legend originates from the Senmusaim cave art of Kucha in Xinjiang,China. The concept itself carries the DNA of mystery, wilderness, and the fusion of civilizations. The exhibition transcends its concrete geographical origins to become a spiritual and cultural symbol.
Hou Jiming, like a contemporary pilgrim, delves deep into the heart of history and transforms it onto canvas—visual imagery pulsing with the rhythms of life. His steadfast commitment to expressive imagery bridges ancient civilization with contemporary spirit. Yet his works are not mere reproductions of cave murals; they are new forms forged from the artist's life experiences and artistic cultivation. Through contemporary experiments with mixed media and classical colors, he explores the fusion of mineral pigments with ink and glue, crafting a mottled legend uniquely his own. This exhibition of expressive figurative paintings transcends mere artworks; it stands as a model for cultural roots-seeking and artistic reinvention.
Hou Jiming seeks to demonstrate that contemporary artistic expression can resonate perfectly with the finest traditions of culture.
