Overall, North America accounts for 46.9% of total foreign direct investment. Spain ranks second with USD 4.431 billion (10.8%), followed by the Netherlands (USD 2.387 billion, 5.8%) and Japan (USD 2.293 billion, 5.6%). The top five source economies account for 69.1% of total received investment.
