美味百乐餐——最长情的陪伴

   感谢节是每年11月的最后一个星期四，它告诉我们人性的美好，从任何事上都可以体现出感恩，问候一下你的父母、朋友、帮助需要帮助的人都是感恩的表现。让我们学会感恩，学会珍惜，学会理解与宽容，最重要的是学会爱，那就是生命真正赋予我们的意义

在感恩节当天凯星为所有的星宝、星爸星妈们组织了棒棒哒的感恩节百乐餐，这算得上是凯星大家庭的传统活动，每一个家庭都会准备一份代表自己家庭的特色菜，一起来到幼儿园和大家共同分享。

走进每一个班级如同走进了一个星级自助餐厅，不光摆放整齐，关键品种多样色香味全，教室里弥漫着食物的香气，眼睛里看着色彩的斑斓，耳边全部是孩子铃铛般的笑声、歌声与祝福声；快乐的晚宴就在这样愉快的氛围中拉开了序幕……！

November World Class Event A1 – POTLUCK

November’s world class event is a meaningful and special day for all. Thanks giving holiday is being celebrated in our school by having the potluck dinner event. Thanksgiving holiday is all about everything that we are thankful for. This event we gathered together and every family contributed by bringing some unique and homemade food that created a special thanksgiving dinner.

A1 class prepared for this event by learning the phrase “Thank You” and understanding its meaning. We created together “thank you” cards for the children’s parents and it was given to them by their own children during the event. Furthermore, as part of the monthly “English Show Time” the children performed a dance reflecting their ability to count in English.

Finally, I believe that this event was enriching and enjoyable for the children, the parents and the school’s team members. I would also want to emphasize my gratitude to the parents for their support, inspiration and their willingness to be an integral part of the children’s education – it is not for granted.

November World Class Event

This month for B1 and B2 classes we had a lot of fun sharing the spirit of thanksgiving.

We had a big event at the end of the month to celebrate thanksgiving together with children, parents and teachers.

There was a wonderful atmosphere as children gave thanks to their parents for all that they do. The kids prepared thank you cards with colourful handprints for their mums and dads and presented this small gift to them and got a big hug in return!

Parents brought many delicious dishes and different food to share with one another and everybody enjoyed the event.

For our English show time we sang two songs which the children had fun performing. The first was the ‘finger family’ song (daddy finger, mummy finger, brother finger, sister finger, baby finger). The second was called ‘The Hokey Pokey’ where the children had a lot of fun dancing around and shaking their bodies.

I hope you can see from the pictures how much fun we had this month in B1 and B2!

C1 and C2 World class Event

Thanksgiving Day in America is a time to offer thanks, of family gatherings and holiday meals. A time of turkeys, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. A time for Indian corn, holiday parades and giant balloons.

These times and more were brought in KIK by the C1 and C2 Classes, through their arts&crafts。

Students gave thanks to their families, offering them hand-made gift cards. 

  3^rd Annual KIK Thanksgiving Pot Luck

    It is that time of year to let the family and friends know how thankful you are to share your favorite foods with them.  Let everyone know how big your heart is by loosening few notches in the old belt buckle.  Come together this year and enjoy the Pot Luck festival. This year we were lucky to have a skilled Chef cook the Thanksgiving Turkey, so don’t forget to give big thank you to Raymond.

November World Class Event D2– POTLUCK

November’s world class event theme was all about “Thanksgiving”. “Thanksgiving” holiday meaning is about being thankful and appreciate the good things happened to us at the end of the year. As we do every year, we gathered together and every family contributed by bringing some of their homemade and delicious food into one special event – “Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner”.

For the past two weeks, D2 class has learned “Thanksgiving” English song and by that they internalize the purpose of the “Thanksgiving” holiday. The children performed a dance and sang to their parents the thank you song “A surprise for you”, thanking the parents for their love, support and giving. At the second part of the event preparation the children wrote “Thank You Cards” dedicated to their parents and gave it to them right after finishing the performance.

In conclusion, the event created a special and meaningful environment for all. The children’s performance was outstanding, exciting and joyful. They made us all proud by showing their English abilities and understanding of the holiday’s meaning. 

For November's World Class Event, we celebrated the North American holiday "Thanksgiving".  Traditionally in the USA, Thanksgiving is a holiday where family and friends get together to share a big dinner, watch football, and remind each other what we are thankful for: family, friends, good health, success, etc.  For KIK's Thanksgiving Day Dinner, C3 and D3 classes had a potluck dinner, where every family brought a delicious dish to share.  There was great food, great company, and we all had a wonderful time.
