The day kicked off with a warm, festive welcome: children arrived in costumes full of color and creativity to the sound of Thriller, Ghostbusters, and This Is Halloween filling the entrance. Teachers got in on the fun, too—whether dressed as Wolverine, Maleficent, or even an inflatable T. rex, they helped set the tone for a day of festive adventure.
Crafty and Creepy Classroom Fun

Once in their classrooms, students immersed themselves in Halloween activities specially tailored for the occasion. Some classes dove into Halloween-themed arts and crafts, creating spooky decorations, while others tested their taste buds with a “spooky food” blind tasting or crafted shadow puppets for eerie storytelling. Laughter and excitement filled the rooms as each activity revealed new delights.
Trick-or-Treating Adventures

Next, the older students gathered in the Dreamworks theater for a screening of Room on the Broom, a heartwarming Halloween story, while the younger children embarked on their first-ever trick-or-treating adventure around the school. They visited each classroom with wide eyes and big smiles, calling out “trick or treat!” and returning with sweets. Back in their classrooms, they proudly counted their treasures, thrilled with their Halloween bounty.

By day’s end, every child had experienced a world of Halloween magic, from crafts to candy, stories, and a memorable feast. This year’s celebration brought endless smiles, laughter, and a few spooky surprises, creating memories the students and teachers will hold close until next Halloween and beyond.
