On July 4, during Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to China, under the witness of Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister Hasina, Chinese Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan and Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh Monowar Ahmed co-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on Establishing a Working Group of Investment Cooperation.

7月4日，孟加拉国总理和中国总理共同见证下，中国商务部部长钟山与孟加拉国财政部秘书莫诺瓦•艾哈迈德共同签署《中华人民共和国商务部和孟加拉人民共和国财政部关于建立投资合作工作组的谅解备忘录》。

In recent years, China's investment cooperation in Bangladesh has developed quite well. Chinese companies have implemented a number of major projects in Bangladesh's transportation, power and communications fields, which has made positive contributions to the economic and social development of the two countries. The establishment of investment cooperation work groups by both parties is an important measure to jointly expand cooperation space and enhance cooperation level.

近年来，中国对孟加拉国投资合作发展势头良好。中国企业在孟加拉国交通、电力、通信等领域实施了多个重大项目，为两国经济社会发展作出了积极贡献。双方建立投资合作工作组是携手拓展合作空间、提升合作水平的重要举措。

After the establishment of the new mechanism, led by the Belt and Road Initiative, the Ministry of Commerce of China will lead relevant departments of Bangladesh to guide related investment cooperation sides such as enterprises, industry organizations, financial institutions and local governments to strengthen policy-level communication and project promotion. It will focus on improving the investment environment and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises as well as solving obstacles and problems in specific cooperation projects to promote investment cooperation between the two countries for high-quality development.

新机制建立后，中国商务部将与孟方有关部门以共建“一带一路”为引领，引导企业、行业组织、金融机构和地方政府等投资合作相关方加强政策层面的沟通交流和项目推介，并重点就改善投资环境和保障企业合法权益开展磋商，着力研究解决具体合作项目中存在的障碍和问题，推动两国投资合作实现高质量发展。

On August 28, the China Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing (Malaysia) Brand Exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, opened in Malaysia International Trade Exhibition Center.

8月28日，由商务部主办的2019年中国机械与智能制造（马来西亚）品牌展在马来西亚国际贸易展览中心隆重开幕。

Wang Jianmin, Vice Minister of Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Shi Ziming, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, Vice Director Jia Guoyong of our Bureau, and Zhao Rui, Executive Vice President of Simac Exhibition Company, attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

马来西亚贸工部副部长王建民、中国驻马来西亚使馆经商处参赞石资明、我局贾国勇副局长和西麦克展览公司常务副总经理赵睿等嘉宾出席开幕式并剪彩。

The exhibition covers an area of 1200 square meters. Nearly 60 domestic enterprises and more than 10 local enterprises from Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu, Beijing, Guangdong, Shandong and other provinces and cities participated in the exhibition. Exhibits cover machine tools and metal processing, robotics and industrial automation, industrial components, energy, pipes and wires, logistics, new energy vehicles and other fields.

本届展会展览面积1200平方米，来自浙江、福建、江苏、北京、广东、山东等省市的近60家国内企业和10余家当地企业参展。展品涵盖机床及金属加工、机器人及工业自动化、工业零部件、能源、管材线材、物流、新能源汽车等多个领域。

During the same period, many forums and promotional activities with the theme of "Industrial 4.0" and Sino-Malaysian trade exchanges were carefully prepared, which built a bridge for the enterprises of both sides to enhance exchanges and expand cooperation.

展会同期还精心筹备了多场以“工业4.0”及中马贸易交流为主题的论坛和推介活动，为双方企业增进交流、拓展合作搭建桥梁。

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, in January-June, China’s total import and export volume with Africa was US$101.86 billion, up 2.9% year on year, exceeding the overall growth rate of foreign trade in the same period by 4.9 percentage points. Among these, China’s exports to Africa were US$52.86 billion, up 5.2% year on year and China’s imports from Africa were US$49.00 billion, up 0.5% year on year; the trade surplus was US$3.86 billion, up 159.0% year on year.

据中国海关总署统计，1-6月，中国对非洲进出口总额1018.6亿美元，同比增长2.9%，超过同期外贸总增长率4.9个百分点。其中，中国对非洲出口528.6亿美元，同比增长5.2%；中国对非洲进口490.0亿美元，同比增长0.5%；贸易顺差38.6亿美元，同比增长159.0%。

In June, China’s total import and export volume with Africa was US$17.09 billion, up 2.3% year on year. Among these, China’s exports to Africa were US$9.29 billion, up 0.3% year on year; China’s imports from Africa were US$7.79 billion, up 4.7% year on year; the trade surplus was US$1.50 billion, down 17.6% year on year.

6月份，中国对非进出口总额170.9亿美元，同比增长2.3%。其中，中国对非洲出口92.9亿美元，同比增长0.3%；中国对非洲进口77.9亿美元，同比增长4.7%；贸易顺差15.0亿美元，同比下降17.6%。
