Qinglu Liu (Lucas) | Artist Biography
Qinglu Liu (Lucas) is a contemporary Chinese artist whose work explores the interplay between identity, global narratives, and artistic value. Known for his distinct visual lexicon of penguins, astronauts, and deer, Liu’s art serves as an evocative exploration of cultural migration, existential inquiry, and the evolution of human perception in a rapidly shifting world.
His artistic practice is defined by a seamless fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics, drawing inspiration from classical Chinese motifs, contemporary European abstraction, and technological transformations. Liu’s work often examines the role of technology in reshaping artistic ownership, authenticity, and cultural storytelling.
In 2024, Liu became the first Asian artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), marking a significant milestone in his career. His works have been showcased at prestigious art fairs, leading contemporary galleries, and international museums, and have been acquired by institutions such as the British Embassy in China, JPMorgan Chase Hong Kong, and Dubai Land Department.
As he embarks on his 2025 Global Art Tour, featuring exhibitions in Japan, Dubai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Italy, and Berlin, Liu continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art, challenging how artistic narratives, economic structures, and technological advancements redefine the art world.

刘清路（Lucas）刘清路是一位活跃于当代艺术与文化叙事的中国艺术家，其作品融合了全球化经验、科技发展与个人象征体系。他的创作以企鹅、太空人、小鹿等视觉符号为标志，表达对身份流动、探索精神和社会变迁的思考，并通过跨媒介的艺术手法，探讨艺术在不同文化和经济背景中的价值转换。
刘清路1987年生于中国，毕业于首都师范大学美术学院，在学术训练中奠定了古典艺术与当代实验性艺术的双重基础。他的艺术实践横跨绘画、装置、数字艺术及新媒介艺术，并在创作中探索技术如何影响当代视觉文化。
他的作品曾在全球多个重要展览中展出，并获得机构收藏与私人藏家的广泛关注。2024年，他成为首位在迪拜国际金融中心（DIFC）举办个展的亚洲艺术家，其作品被视为当代艺术与新兴文化交汇的象征。他的影响力也延伸至多个国际艺术博览会、博物馆和机构收藏，并在企业及私人收藏市场中获得高度认可。
即将在2025年开启的全球巡回展（Japan, Dubai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Italy, Berlin），将进一步呈现其对艺术边界、文化符号、价值认同的持续探索，并以其独特的视觉语言推动当代艺术的多维发展。
