沐浴着秋日的暖阳，浸润着丹桂的芬芳，CBS高中部迎来了学生会换届改选。
CBS High School held their annual student union elections.
主持人陈老师首先介绍了学生会的组织构成、部门分工等情况，接下来，各位候选人发表了精彩的竞选演讲。演讲台上的他们尽显风采：或慷慨激昂，或侃侃而谈，或机智风趣……候选人们各自阐述了对学生会的向往与追求，表达了努力做好竞选岗位工作的信心和决心。
Ms Chen explained the purpose of the student union and the possible positions students could apply to hold. The candidates gave application speeches that demonstrated their eagerness and passion for their school as well as their determination to make a difference in the future.
本次选举采取公开投票制度，高中部全体同学参与投票，在高一张欣然，高二董珂灵，高三顾尹茜三位监票人的共同监督之下完成，所有候选人必须获得60%以上的选票才能正式当选。
This election was conducted using a public voting system in which all the senior high school students participated in the voting. In order to be elected to the student union candidates needed to secure a 60% approval rating from their student body.

在确定好学生会干部人选之后，各部门还面向其他同学招募新成员，每个部门招募了三名干事。同学们根据自身情况积极响应、踊跃报名，学生会主席、副主席以及部门部长作为评委，秉承公开竞争、公正考核、择优录取的原则，确定了干事人选，任期一年。
