This April, The Color Run™ returns to the capital — bringing back its signature mix of movement, music, and clouds of color. Known around the world as The Happiest 5K on the Planet, this is less about racing and more about showing up, having fun, and getting completely covered in paint powder with thousands of strangers who quickly feel like friends.
If you’ve never done it before, here’s the deal: everyone starts in white.
Over five relaxed kilometers (no timing, no pressure), runners are splashed with different colors at each checkpoint.
By the time you reach the finish line, you’ll look like a walking rainbow — and probably be laughing way more than you expected.
And once the run is over? The party’s just getting started.
Expect music, dancing, photo spots, activity booths, and those famous mass color throws that turn the whole venue into one giant celebration. It’s easily one of the most fun post-run scenes you’ll ever experience — even if running usually isn’t your thing.
2026 Is Extra Special
The year 2026 also marks the 10th anniversary of The Color Run™ in China, and the Beijing stop is getting some fresh upgrades to celebrate.
Think brand-new Cloud Foam Zones, special anniversary runner kits, new photo installations along the course, plus more music and interactive moments throughout the route.
More foam, more color, more reasons to bring your friends.
Whether you’re coming with colleagues, your running crew, family, or just yourself, this is one of those events that works for everyone. No competition. No finish-time stress. Just a few kilometers of shared energy and a lot of smiling strangers.
