The race is divided into the the preliminary contest, semi-finals and finals.In 2019, the ninth race will attract many groups and businesses, including SongLiao department of Ministry of Water Resources, Jilv Hotel Group, Jilin Art College, Guanghua College, Changchun Gas Company, Changchun Winter Swimming Association, Changchun Green Road Outdoor, Changchun 11th High School , Changchun Huaqi Auto Parts Company, Bojue Catering, Die Backstube Catering, WEBASTO, Delixi Eectric Wire Company, JiLin Wendefu technology co., social organizations, colleges and universities from the province19 teams, each team is made up of 20 people, including the leader, rowers, the helmsman, drummers, substitute members, etc.
The Moon Lake Dragon Boat Race is the only Changchun City water dragon boat project, with the tournament being held since 2011. It became the calling card of Changchun's cultural tourism, and is also an important part of the overall fitness in Changchun.
The Race strives to further promote the prosperity of the dragon boat sport in Jilin Province, giving impetus to the development of athletic undertakings and cultural sports.
