At 13:49 on May 6, at the intersection of Guigu Street and Feiyue Road, due to the subway construction, the medium-pressure pipeline of Changchun Gas was damaged during excavation, resulting in the sudden interruption of gas in many compounds. In the meantime, the gas supply is expected to resume at 16:00 on May 10.

While they are performing repairs, the main bar ball valves of the involved compounds need to be closed. To ensure safety, the main supply of all compounds should be closed before the pressure controls can be opened. The repairs need time, and the city municipality hopes that affected residents understand and actively cooperate to turn off and later turn on their own supply at home until the gas line has been restored.
