The German International School Changchun invites you to a concert evening themed “East meets West“, organized in cooperation with the Changchun American International School.
When & Where: Friday, October 25, 6 pm inside the CAIS school building, 2899 Dong Nan Hu Road

The event will serve as the kick-off for a new series of cultural events organized by DISC. Far Eastern melodies on traditional Chinese instruments meet Western tunes. The program will be arranged by musicians of the Jilin Provincial Orchestra as well as local artists from Changchun. Before the concert, guests can take a look at the current exhibition with artworks by CAIS art teacher Benny Kharismana and hobby photographer Andreas Felske. Last butnot least, visitors can watch clay figurine artist Mr. Zhang live at work. Thistraditional Guandong craft has been handed down to him over three generations.
