导读:Are You "Officially Diagnosed"?

By Rachel Wu

In a bizarre twist that's got the internet neighing with laughter, workplaces in China have been overrun by a viral horse meme phenomenon.

What started as a cheeky acknowledgment to the Year of the Horse has evolved into a full-blown cultural craze, with employees "diagnosing" themselves as various equine alter egos via hilarious back-mounted signs.

If you've spotted colleagues sporting placards proclaiming "2026 Officially Confirmed Treatment As" followed by punny horse variants, you're not alone.

This is the latest office rebellion against burnout, wrapped in zodiac whimsy.

The meme exploded on platforms like Weibo and Douyin, turning digital laughs into real-office pranks.

Signs feature absurd horse images with captions tied to work struggles, like endless meetings or zero work-life balance.

Here are the top Horse Diagnoses spotted in the wild:

- Double Rest Called Cow-Horse: For those with a 5-day workweek and 2 days off, still a basic "beast of burden" (slang for overworked drone).

- Single Rest Called War-Horse: 6-day grind with just 1 day off? You're a battle-hardened warrior horse.

- Night Shift Called Dark Horse: Night workers shining (or suffering) unexpectedly in the shadows.

What about you?

What is the best horse meme you have come up with so far?
