Google today began rolling out the new experimental "Ask for Me" feature, part of Search Labs. Google search users can use AI to call businesses and ask about prices and availability. Currently, Google is testing this experimental feature in car dealerships and nail salons with the aim of saving users from making the calls themselves. Businesses can opt out of the AI-powered calls, and the feature will display a message at the start of the call indicating that AI is being used.
