CLOU建筑事务所设计的“三亚农场实验室”位于中国三亚南樊区，是一个多功能的展览和零售空间。该项目位于热带海南岛最南端的城市，占地4000平方米，是一个四层建筑，致力于现代有机农业的展示和生活方式的发展。复杂的空间系统淡化了自然和城市之间的传统界限，让技术和生活无缝衔接，最大限度地提高游客的交流和互动。

located in nanfan district of sanya, china, ‘sanya farm lab’ by CLOU architects, is a multi-functional exhibition and retail space. spanning 4000 sqm amid the southernmost city on tropical hainan island, the project takes shape as a four-storey structure focused on the modern organic agriculture display and development of lifestyles. the intricate system of voids fades away the traditional boundaries between nature and the city, allowing seamless coexistence among technology and life, maximizing visitors’ communication and interactions.

CLOU建筑事务所试图结合该地区的气候特征，整合其科技农业元素。作为展览中心的一部分，农场实验室集成了农业机器人和室内垂直农场等高科技展示，引入了全新的农场到餐桌的体验。该项目的目的是向公众实时展示高水平的技术，强调在社会和教育部门发展的农业技术的演变。

CLOU architects sought to combine the climate features of the region, integrating its scientific and technological farming elements. as part of an exhibition center, the farm lab integrates high-tech displays such as agricultural robotics and indoor vertical farming, introducing a brand new farm-to-table experience. the project’s intention is to present the high-level technologies to the public in real-time, emphasizing the evolution of agricultural techs developed in society and education sectors.

建筑师将建筑结构和内部布局分为三个阶段:平台、楼梯和遮阳。一开始，他们构建了室外公共空间，轮廓清晰，层次丰富，与四层的功能体块相呼应。二楼的悬臂为较低的楼层创造了一个半室外的避雨处，容纳了酒吧和餐厅区域以及户外公共平台。

the architects completed the architectural structure and internal layout into three phases, taking into consideration: platforms, staircases, and sun protection. in the beginning, they constructed the outdoor public space outlined with clear scales and rich levels responding to the four storeys’ functional massing. the cantilever on the second floor created a semi-outdoor rain shelter for the lower level that accommodates bar and restaurant areas and a playing outdoor public platform.

第二点是针织户外公共空间与室外流通相结合。一个雕塑般的螺旋楼梯主导了室内，而多功能剧院的巨大楼梯连接了室内和室外区域，提供了一个更容易的过渡空间。

最后，他们添加了木格栅结构——灵感来自海南黎族传统房屋——确保了楼层之间的透明度和视觉互动。此外，网格有助于自然光和通风通过室内，同时减少了70%的阳光吸收，并为周围的景色提供了一个开放的视野。

the second point of action was directed to the knitted outdoor public spaces combined with outdoor circulation. a sculptural spiral stair dominates the interior while huge stairs of the multi-functional theatre connect the indoor and outdoor areas, providing an easier transition through the spaces. last, they added a timber grid structure —inspired by the traditional house of hainan li nationality — ensuring transparency and visual interaction between the levels. furthermore, the grid helps natural light and ventilation to flow through the interior, reducing at the same time sunlight absorption by 70% and offers an open view towards the surrounding scenery.
