那么今天就来讲一下有关于“雷(Thunder)”的表达吧~

我们可以这样理解：
在中文中有句话叫做“雷（thunder）声大，雨点小”，前面半句“雷声大”常常形容某人做事“声势浩大”，thunder 就理解为“浩大的声势或者风头”。
那么steal sb's thunder可以理解为“偷走了某人浩大的声势(风头)”，也就是“抢风头”啦！

Harry was delighted when he passed his driving test, but his brother stole his thunder by getting engaged on the same day.
哈里通过驾驶考试后非常高兴，但是他的哥哥却抢了他的风头，在同一天订婚了。
