London and Partners is hiring the Inward Investment Manager - Creative in London, sits within the Business Directorate and specifically within the FDI team in London. The role is to delivery contestable FDI projects in the Creative sector, with a particular focus on one or more of the core markets.

ABOUT YOU

Position type: Inward Investment Manager - Creative

Location: London

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (1 year)

Closing date: 28 February 2020

Key tasks

Deliver contestable FDI wins for London to achieve output targets, contributing GVA to the overall L&P target. 
Work closely with the Markets team, to help nurture, develop and then successfully convert inward investment projects into wins by: 
Adding and advising on bespoke client propositions, discussions and meetings, enabling Markets to become more self-serving 
Sharing in depth sector knowledge and expertise, as well as access to networks such as industry leaders, trade bodies, universities and other centres of sector excellence 
Developing bespoke visit programmes for contestable projects  
Monitor delivery of pipeline activity, contributing to reporting and tracking on a regular basis with the ability to provide a clear view of the project pipeline and working with the Head of Creative to take remedial action, as appropriate.  
Contribute to London & Partners’ quality objectives and the development of the organisation’s quality management system.   
Undertake any other projects or special assignments which may from time to time be required.

Person specification

Knowledge and Experience 

Education: degree level or equivalent professional qualification 
Specific role experience: Demonstrable track record of success in business. Eagerness to learn, develop and deliver in an international or global business environment. 
IT: Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products is necessary.  Knowledge of CRM would be an advantage.
