Tom Duke has been appointed as the Minister Counsellor for the Department for International Trade in March 2019 and Deputy HM Trade Commissioner to China in 2020. As a member of the DIT China senior leadership team,  Tom is responsible for trade and investment promotion, trade policy and market access across a range of industry sectors including Energy, Transport, Infrastructure, Retail, Food and Drinks, Creative Industries and Sports. Tom has been the UK’s intellectual property attaché to China since December 2011. IP attachés helps to build relations with the governments of host countries to understand and actively engage with IP policy makers.

William is an M&E engineer joined Arup in 2001 with nearly 20-year working experience, holding the Master degree in the University of Hong Kong. He has fruitful experience in design, site supervision and project management in commercial sector, infrastructure and data centre in China. William is the specialist of vertical transportation and smart building design, and the key member in many famous projects including Wuhan Centre, Changsha IFS, Chongqing Vanke Centre, etc. He spent much effort in recent years to integrate skills of building sustainability and digital, covering smart, green, health, safety and resilience elements.
