上海当代艺术博物馆 | 她：妮基•圣法勒和沈远

2018年8月18日至10月14日，展览“她：妮基·圣法勒和沈远”将在上海当代艺术博物馆举办，为观众带来两位艺术家创作生涯中的经典作品。展览首先向妮基·圣法勒创作于1966年的里程碑式作品《Hon》致敬，这是当代女性艺术创作史上最早的大体量作品之一。“Hon” 在瑞典语中意为“她”，展览以形态抽象的“Hon”联结“女也”，旨在构建不同时空背景下两位艺术家的对话关系，展现她们的创作机缘与内心默契。

From August 18th to October 14th, 2018, the exhibition "HON: Niki de Saint Phalle & Shen Yuan" will be held at the Power Station of Art to bring the classic works of the two incredible artists' careers. The exhibition first pays homage to Niki de Saint Phalle's 1966 landmark work "Hon", one of the earliest mass works in the history of contemporary women's art. "Hon" means "her" in Swedish. The exhibition is based on the abstract concept of "Hon" and "female". It aims to construct a dialogue between two artists from different time and space, showcasing their creative talent and artistic understanding.

本次展览不仅标志着妮基·圣法勒的作品首次在亚洲进行大规模展示，也是对于沈远至今三十余年创作脉络的一次主题式梳理，暨在上海地区的首次回顾性展出。作为此次展览的协办方，ACTIVATION LIQUID负责妮基·圣法勒部分的所有搭建布展、衍生品设计，并将于8月21日主持举办展览开幕式。

This exhibition not only marks the first large-scale demonstration of Niki de Saint Phalle's work in Asia, but also a thematic display of Shen Yuan's more than 30 years of creation, and the first retrospective exhibition in Shanghai. As the co-organizer of the exhibition, ACTIVATION LIQUID was responsible for all the onsite construction and arrangement of the Niki de Saint Phalle part, the derivative design, and will host the opening ceremony on August 21st.

展览策展人、电厂厂长龚彦表示：“妮基·圣法勒在上世纪六十年代的作品《她》（Hon），邀请观众步入女性的体内，在生命的源头狂欢。这件作品因不可再复制而成为今天的神话。沈远把现实世界的困顿化作感性而可触的结构，与妮基·圣法勒色彩斑斓的梦魇形成对比。她们为象征男权的发电厂注入超越性别的能量，伴随着她们的矛盾，挣扎和想象，是一场观念的历险。”

Gong Yan, the curator of the exhibition and the director of the Power Station of Art, said: "Niki de Saint Phalle's work "Hon" in the 1960s invited audiences to step into the female body and rejoice in the origin of life. The iconic work became legendary today because it cannot be imitated. Shen Yuan turned the dilemma of the real world into a perceptual and touchable structure, contrasting with the colorful dream of Niki de Saint Phalle. They injected into the Power Station of Art which symbolizes male power with an energy that transcends gender. Through contradictions, struggles and imaginations, this exhibition is an adventure of perception."

妮基·圣法勒，1930年生于法国塞纳河畔的纳伊市，2002年逝世于美国加州的拉霍亚市，其创作形式多样，涉及拼贴、雕塑、版画、电影等媒介；取材广泛，个人心史、神话传说、社会议题等均构成她的灵感来源。

上世纪60年代初，在抽象绘画依然占据西方艺术主流的时候，没有接受过学院教育的妮基就以闯入者的姿态现身艺术界，她向隐匿在石膏装置中的颜料射击，让色彩在画布上泼溅，创造了著名的“射击系列”绘画，由此成为欧洲“新现实主义”的核心人物之一，引领了绘画与雕塑的“观念化”转向。

从60年代中期起，妮基·圣法勒开始着手创作她最具标志性的“娜娜”系列，一个个形象丰腴而自由的雕塑从她手中诞生。随后，她创作了诸多体量巨大的作品，并率领团队完成了意大利托斯卡纳塔罗公园等雕塑群落项目。

1990年代早期，艺术家移居美国，《加州日记》系列丝印版画即以这一时期的生活为蓝本。

▲沈远

沈远，1959年出生于福建仙游，是一位具有代表性的中国当代女性艺术家。20世纪80年代初期，沈远求学于浙江美术学院（今中国美术学院）国画系，在当时的风潮引领下逐渐展开实验艺术创作。90年代初期，她移居法国，环境的变化与文化的断裂激发了她对身份与语言问题的思考。

沈远擅长使用日常物件进行创作，偏爱那些转瞬即逝和难以使用的材料，她认为"赋予事物以新的价值，正是艺术家的责任所在"。在其作品中反复出现的编织、刺绣、头发、鞋子等素材，既映射着朴质的女性经验，也指向宏大的女性话语。近年来，沈远的创作更直接与其四处游历考察的见闻有关，体现了她对急剧变动的世界的敏锐捕捉。
