11月27日- 12月4日, 首届 FASHION ASIA 2016 HONGKONG亚洲时装业论坛及时装展览于香港盛大举行，由香港设计中心主办，并获得特区政府和创意香港大力支持。
November 27 – December 4, The inaugural FASHION ASIA 2016 HONGKONG (FASHION ASIA) organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre, obtained strong support from CreateHK and the HKSAR Government.
ACTIVATION GROUP负责FASHION ASIA项目的活动概念设计、建造及管理，公关宣传推广及媒体管理，致力协助香港设计中心，在FASHION ASIA时装发展项目下，打造了一系亚洲地区专属的时装设计盛会，巩固香港作为亚洲时装界商贸发展枢纽的地位。
ACTIVATION GROUP, in charge of the event design concept, setup, PR communications and media management, worked closely with Hong Kong Design Centre to make the events under FASHION ASIA, the high-profile initiatives launched by HKSAR Government to promote Hong Kong on the international fashion stage.

FASHION ASIA重点活动包括11月27日至12月4日在PMQ元创方举行的「10 Asian Designers To Watch」亚洲时装展览；11月28日至29日于香港会议展览中心举行的「Fashion Challenges」亚洲时装业论坛，以及11月28日晚上在唯港荟举办的「Fashion Gala Evening」。
The programme consisted of a curated exhibition, ‘10 Asian Designers To Watch’ held at Police Married Quarters (PMQ) from November 27 to December 4, a two-day forum titled ‘Fashion Challenges’ at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from November 28 to 29 as well as the Fashion Gala Evening which was held at Hotel ICON to celebrate the successful launch of FASHION ASIA 2016 HONGKONG on the evening of 28 November.

「10 Asian Designers To Watch」亚洲时装展览
展览于11月27日至12月4日举行，将十位由业界翘楚挑选的亚洲杰出设计精英的精选作品呈现于充满未来时代感的立体方块中。配合霓虹灯光管的设计，刻划出香港独有的城市特色，令各有个性的作品在富动感活力的香港大放异彩。十个时装品牌包括：香港的Jourden、Ground Zero、minki；南韩的BMUET(TE)、KYE；马来西亚的Edmund Ooi；中国内地的Angel Chen、Andrea Jiapei Li、Xu Zhi以及日本的Facetasm。大会亦特别设立了「POP UP SPACE」及「HONGKONG SHOWROOM」，展出本地时装精英的作品予市民参观。
'10 Asian Designers to Watch' Exhibition
Ten of Asia’s most outstanding design talents, as selected by a panel of high-profile industry insiders, showcased their capsule collections consisting of five of their favourite looks from 27 November to 4 December. Displayed in futuristic cubes bathed in neon light and scattered over concrete slabs, the exhibition’s design was inspired by the breath-taking skyline of Hong Kong and captured the pulsating energy and rich colours of the city. Brands featured include Jourden, Ground Zero and minki from Hong Kong; BMUET(TE), and KYE from South Korea; Edmund Ooi from Malaysia; Angel Chen, Andrea Jiapei Li and Xu Zhi from Mainland of China; and Facetasm from Japan. A series of additional ‘POP UP SPACE’ and a dedicated ‘HONGKONG SHOWROOM’ also highlighted the work of local fashion talents to the public.

「Fashion Challenges」亚洲时装业论坛
期两天的「Fashion Challenges」亚洲时装业论坛聚集时装创意范畴的领袖、知名品牌和设计师、买手、国际传媒等共同探讨时装业的变革。论坛邀请到国际知名的时装业领袖担任讲者，包括Lane Crawford主席Andrew Keith、摄影师Wing Shya、时尚博客Bryanboy、Tranoï行政总裁David Hadida、MATCHESFASHION.COM 联合创办人及主席Tom Chapman 及时装设计师Christopher Raeburn、Jason Wu、Johanna Ho等。
'Fashion Challenges' Forum
The two-day forum ‘Fashion Challenges’ addressed current issues facing the industry, as world-class speakers gathered to create a series of engaging dialogues and inspiring conversations. Speakers included internationally-renowned industry leaders such as President of Lane Crawford Andrew Keith, photographer Wing Shya , blogger Bryanboy, CEO of Tranoï David Hadida, Co-founder and Chairman of MATCHESFASHION.COM Tom Chapman and fashion designers Christopher Raeburn, Jason Wu and Johanna Ho, to name a few.

「Fashion Gala Evening」
11月28日晚上，业界人士出席在唯港荟举办的「Fashion Gala Evening」，共贺FASHION ASIA 2016 HONGKONG成功举办，当晚主礼嘉宾包括鞋履及时装设计师Datuk Professor (Dr.) Jimmy Choo, OBE及时装设计师Vivienne Tam，其他嘉宾包括Jason Wu、Christopher Raeburn、Tina Lau、Hilary Tsui、Tina Leung、Bryanboy、Eunice Chan、Walter Ma、LuLu Cheung、Ranee K 和 Peter Cheung。席间，一众来宾亦欣赏了多项精彩表演，包括本地歌手黄靖和来自马来西亚的歌手Shila献唱，以及四击头的精彩击鼓。
'Fashion Gala Evening'
On the evening of 28 November, members of the industry attended the Fashion Gala Evening at Hotel ICON to celebrate the successful launch of FASHION ASIA 2016 HONGKONG. Guests of Honour shoe & fashion designer Datuk Professor (Dr.) Jimmy Choo, OBE and fashion designer Ms. Vivienne Tam, gathered alongside other distinguished guests such as Jason Wu, Christopher Raeburn, Tina Lau, Hilary Tsui, Tina Leung, Bryanboy, Eunis Chan, Walter Ma, Lu Lu Cheung, Ranee K and Peter Cheung. Throughout the evening guests also enjoyed a series of musical performances by singers Jing Wong, Shila and drummers Four Gig Heads.
