Qualification：

● Have a business education (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or a technical education (e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc.), ideally combined with an PhD/ MBA 

● Have 10+ years of experience from commercial and/or technical roles, where you have proven your strong business acumen, project management, business development (from idea generation to commercialization) and cross-functional leadership experience

● Solid understanding of the strategic segment (value chain, challenges, trends etc.) and ideally existing network along the value chain

● Understand the mechanisms behind decisions and routing within the chemical industry as well as the need of collaboration with industry peers 

Main function：

● The Business Development Director/Manager within Strategic Markets & Innovation are critical to drive the future development of company’s strategic segments (Resins & Coatings, Engineered Fluids) and future strategic segments. 

● The Business Development Director/Manager is responsible to identify, evaluate and drive strategic development initiatives and partnerships, to further advance a step change move for company as a specialty product & service provider (sustainable solutions provider) in the key focus segments. 

● The Business Development Director/manager has a strong commercial profile, combined with solid technical knowhow about applications, needs and current solutions along the relevant value chains.
