Liquid-Cooling Technology


Currently, the main cooling methods are natural cooling, air cooling and liquid cooling, among which liquid cooling is the most effective.

RENON has four products of residential energy storage that all use liquid-cooling technology.

IP65 protection level, integrated liquid cooling control system, smart controlling of operating temperature so that can adapt to the harsh environment.


(1) Safer

High energy density ESS of RENON will generate more heat. Renon adopts liquid-cooling technology, which can quickly inhibit the continuous deterioration of thermal runaway and reduce the risk of runaway.


(2) More economical

To achieve the same average battery temperature, air-cooling requires 2-3 times higher energy consumption than liquid-cooling.


(3) More suitable for long-term energy storage

Liquid-cooling technology has the advantages of high thermal conductivity, more uniform heat dissipation, lower energy consumption and less floor space, which makes it more suitable for large-scale and long-time energy storage scenarios.

Three-Layer BMS Technology


The main functions of Renon's self-developed intelligent BMS include condition monitoring and evaluation, cell equalization, control protection, communication and logging, etc.


The complete energy storage system BMS consists of battery pack BMS, battery cluster BMS and system BMS. The three-layer BMS design avoids cell imbalance and its resulting overcharge and over-discharge.


Slave control: 

Battery cell management unit: BMS, collects single cell information.

Master control: 

Battery cluster management unit: BMU, which collects BMS information and cluster information.

General control: 

Battery array management unit: EMS, which centralizes the management of the batteries in the whole energy storage stack.

System Management Technology


The convenient user experience: adopting one-touch switch technology, users can turn on and off the inverter, main control, and battery module with a single button press.


The RENON ESS cloud platform integrates visual maintenance, refined management, and big data analysis. The Smart Cloud monitoring and control system enables users to customize system behavior or implement remote firmware updates for easy day-to-day use and maintenance.

With RENON Cloud you can check and operate your battery worldwide. Furthermore, extensive data studies lead to battery design optimization and cost savings.


Both the mobile app and the web can seamlessly switch between real-time monitoring and multi-screen interaction.
