Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the development and execution of marketing and communications strategy in OAP region covering distributor countries like Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam etc., and direct sales countries like Australia, New Zealand.
· Market budget planning and execution follow up for the OAP region together with APAC and Group
· Manage eMarketing with social media and website advertisement
· Participate in New product promotion plan and action for the region
· Handle public relationship for brand image promotion when needed
· Overall responsibility for all marketing campaigns, execution and product launches regionally
· Work closely with sales teams, product managers and global marketing teams to ensure marketing contributes to regional business objectives
· Be a key contributor in Distributor Enablement:
o Co-operate with our distributor network to understand end-customer needs & requirements and to support the sales teams to achieve their targets
o Close co-operation with distributors in OAP region, such as Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam etc.
o provide sufficient support for them, such as launch plan updates, marketing trainings, marketing materials translation and validation, event management/execution etc.
· Analyze data and marketing KPIs to ensure the performance is optimized
· Maintain a deep understanding of your target market and key personas, translate that to marketing content for relevant platforms
· Translate customer value into customer stories: interview our customers and create case studies, videos, webinars, and other content to support the sales and marketing activities.
Sourcing Manager - IT
Duties & Tasks:
The most significant Duties and Tasks for this role are described below. (subject to change according to business needs)
Sourcing Responsibility
• Performs sourcing of products and services according strategies Prepares and send out RFQs/Global sourcing. Analyses offers, lead and/or participate in negotiations. Ensures cross functional alignment and necessary activities. Prepares and presents sourcing case in decision forums. Finalise contract/orders for signing.
Supplier base
• Acquires and utilises category specific industry, market and technology knowledge. Develop, maintain and continuously evaluate the potential and risk of supplier base, focusing on local supplier base.
Strategies
• Develop and/or execute category strategies. Aligns strategies and activities globally, with Scania, VW-group or other relevant strategic alliances. Contributes to development of sustainability strategies in close cooperation with internal stakeholders. Business and
Sourcing plans
• Develops and executes business plan activities and ensure results. Creates and executes the Local Sourcing Plan connected and aligned with the Global Sourcing Plan.
Legal responsibility
• Handles deviations and changes from contract templates in cooperation with consultation from legal department. Develops Contract templates and draft agreements.
Manage deviations
• Acts promptly on deviations from normal situation to counteract disturbances or disruptions. Handles deviations within area of responsibility. Resolves bankruptcy situations. Supports in escalations according processes.
Administration
• Places orders, handle Invoices, updates Price lists, Documents work progress and deviations. Administrates contracts documentation and orders. Administrates and understands currency/raw material and other relevant index.
Continuous improvement
• Proactively initiates and conducts improvement work (routines, processes etc.) within own area of responsibility as well as contributes to the overall improvement work.
Experience,
Education & Qualifications:
· 5+years of experience in selling end user specification of industrial instruments products, analyzers ,flowmeter and services to Industry customer, OEMs, system integrator and end user
· Experience in selling and influencing user specifications in some of our target industries like Semiconductor, pulp & paper, Food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemicals, oil & gas, Petrochem Experience in working with distribution partners Ability to understand client requirements and present Vaisala’s products and services to meet those business needs
· Familiar with value/solution selling best practices and an ability to understand the business value of the proposed solution
· Demonstrated systematic approach to new business development Industry instrument and application knowledge and contacts will be an asset
· Experienced in developing long term client relationships
· Technical understanding
· Willingness to travel
· Good market knowledge(competitor, customer)
· Fluency in English: Communication skills (oral and written), active listening
· Sales, Marketing and Negotiation skills
· Engineering or business degree
· Instrumentation/Analyzer related work experience
· Semiconductor process and knowledge back ground will be an important advantage
