In June, at the port of Changshu, the early summer heat lingers on.
A batch of special cargo is being loaded onto the ship, preparing to set sail for Subang, Indonesia.
This is a large-scale cross-border logistics project — the BYD automotive shipment to Indonesia — with a total volume of approximately 50,000 cubic meters, planned to be shipped in 6 to 8 batches.
To meet the client’s high standards of "flexible shipment timing and fixed pricing," the project adopts DAP trade terms, with BYD responsible for customs clearance and M&M responsible for the entire transportation from the Chinese port to the delivery point in Indonesia.

Facing the challenges of multi-location coordination, M&M’s Tianjin team in China developed proactive solutions, integrating real-time feedback from the destination port, and coordinating closely with the ship owners and terminal at the origin port to ensure the cargo is safely and punctually loaded.
Operations at the destination port are even more complex.
With muddy unloading grounds, limited space, and fluctuating traffic order, the M&M Indonesia team stepped up, laying auxiliary road plates, flexibly adjusting the unloading sequence, and cooperating with the client to change unloading sites twice, all to ensure delivery progress and safety.
“Our colleagues in Indonesia have been extremely supportive, playing a vital role in unloading and delivery.”
— said the manager of M&M’s Tianjin branch.
Behind all this is the result of day-and-night collaboration by a 20-person project team across China and Indonesia.
Twelve days of sea transport, two days of delivery — seemingly simple timeframes that hide countless details of precise execution and professional dedication. This is a collaboration that crosses oceans and a tacit understanding that spans cultures.
We are proud of this team, and look forward to continuing to exceed expectations amid future challenges.
