B. JD.com has teamed up with AeroTransCargo to launch regular freighter flights to the UK as part of efforts to meet growing cross-border e-commerce demand. AeroTransCargo of Moldova will fly three-times-per-week using a B747-400F between Hefei Xinqiao International Airport in Anhui province and Heathrow Airport in London on behalf of JD.com. A. Kazakhstan is building a new railway line on the Middle Corridor. It will run from Dostyk, near the Chinese border, to Moiynty, near the Caspian Sea. B. 10,052 China-European Liner trains operated in the first eight months 2021, carrying 1,934,000 TEUs, an increase of 32% and 40% respectively year-on-year. 1,323 departures of China-Europe freight trains were operated in August, exceeding 1,300 trains for the fourth consecutive month, carrying 128,000 TEUs, an increase of 9% and 16% respectively year-on-year.
