The theme for 2023 International Women’s Day is #EmbraceEquity. Equity and Equality, as frequently mentioned notions in our lives, are defined very differently: equality means that everyone has access to the same resources and opportunities, while equity refers to the distribution of apposite resources and opportunities as required by each person based on their individual demands to achieve equal outcomes.
