Many students took the opportunity to reflect on what truly helped them navigate university life — not just professors and textbooks, but also the comforting presence of coffee, late-night playlists and TV shows that acted as white noise.
一位同学研究周杰伦的电影，在致谢中感谢杰伦，措辞表达也是十分情真意切了：

不少网友表示，这才是追星典范啊……
不过，确实也不是每个导师都同意学生们整这一出……
除了追星派，还有人在论文里深情表白、当众求婚。比如华中科技大学这位博士：
他在自己发表在国际期刊的论文致谢写到：“另外，我尤其感谢Panpan Mao过去几年给我的耐心、关爱和支持，你愿意嫁给我吗？”
"In addition, Rui Long wants to thank, in particular, the patience, care and support from Panpan Mao over the passed years. Will you marry me?"
2016年，南京中医药大学的一位研究生在《科学报告》（Scientific Reports）上发表的论文中，也向恩爱的女友求婚了：“你愿意和我共度余生吗？”
但写这种感谢之前也希望你三思，如果哪天你们分手了，那现任去知网看了你的论文，然后……

并不是所有的论文致谢都走幽默路线。对许多学生来说，这一刻更像是对求学之路真正意义的回望，以及对自身成长的深刻体会。
Not all acknowledgements took a comedic turn. For many students, it was a moment to reflect on the true significance of their academic journey and the personal growth it inspired.
论文致谢的行文落笔之间，大学生活即将画上句号。象牙塔下，知晓天地之辽阔，窥见浩瀚历史之一隅。
一位历史专业的学生在致谢里写道，他将时刻提醒自己：“要永远做这个世界的学生。”
专业所学，教会我们的不只有知识，更在做人、明德。站在专业的肩膀上，看到更辽阔的世界，成为更好的自己。

I ask the indulgence of the children who may read this book for dedicating it to a grown-up.
我请读到这本书孩子们原谅我把它献给了一个大人。
I have a serious reason: he is the best friend I have in the world. I have another reason: this grown-up understands everything, even books about children. I have a third reason: he lives in France where he is hungry and cold. He needs cheering up.
我有一个很重要的理由：这个大人是我在世界上最好的朋友。我还有另外一个理由：这个大人他什么都懂，甚至给孩子们写的书他也能懂。我的第三个理由是：这个大人住在法国，他在那里挨饿、受冻。他很需要安慰。
If all these reasons are not enough, I will dedicate the book to the child from whom this grown-up grew. All grown-ups were once children--although few of them remember it.
如果这些理由还不够的话，那么我愿意把这本书献给儿童时代的这个大人。所有的大人都曾经是个孩子。可惜，没有多少大人记得这一点。
