A passenger aboard China Eastern Airlines flight MU5828, traveling from Changsha to Kunming, allegedly opened the aircraft's emergency exit without authorization while the plane was parked after landing at Kunming Changshui International Airport.
视频显示，飞机机翼附近的应急舱门已被打开，有乘客情绪明显惊讶。
据了解，航班落地后大家在机舱内等待了大约20分钟，随后便获准下机，现场秩序总体平稳。乘客刘女士透露，打开应急舱门的是一名年轻男子，在飞机完全停稳后，未经许可擅自拉开了安全出口。
Footage from the incident shows the emergency exit door near the wing had been opened, with passengers appearing visibly surprised. According to Liu, a passenger on the flight, the individual responsible was a young man who pulled the safety lever after the plane had fully stopped but before passengers were allowed to disembark the plane. Passengers had waited inside the cabin for approximately 20 minutes post-landing before being allowed to exit, though the situation reportedly remained orderly.

目前，该男子已被警方带走，事件具体性质仍在进一步调查认定中。

工作人员提醒到，飞机起飞前，广播都会播放《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》和《民用航空安全保卫条例》，提醒乘客在飞机上应严格遵守安全规定，避免任何可能危及飞行安全的行为。
有网友猜测，安全出口打开意味着应急滑梯被放下，男子可能要赔付十几万元，甚至几十万元。
极目新闻报道，有航空业内人士表示，男子打开的该安全出口处并没有应急滑梯，“这个安全出口打开后，乘客是可以顺着机翼处的指引线滑下来的，没有应急滑梯。”
另有业内人士表示，虽然此安全出口处无应急滑梯，但男子非机上专业人士，强行打开安全出口也有可能造成机门或其他部件的损害，飞机的具体损失还要机务人员检查后才能确定。
2021年3月，一名男子在昆明机场乘坐客运航班，因嫌客舱闷热，竟将临近起飞的航班应急舱门打开。云南机场公安依法对其作出行政拘留10日的处罚。
湖北今天律师事务所张志健律师提醒，该乘客擅自打开飞机安全舱门，扰乱飞行秩序，危害飞行安全，如果情节较轻尚不够刑事处罚的，公安机构可能对其采取罚款、行政拘留等治安管理处罚。

从民事责任角度来看，航班一般在起飞前会播报安全须知，乘务员也会告知乘客相关注意事项，若航空公司已经尽到提醒义务，该乘客仍然擅自打开飞机安全舱门，存在明显过错，应当承担赔偿责任。具体的赔偿项目可能包括飞机安全检修费用以及因检修造成的航班停飞损失等。
